Conservative talk radio host Laura Ingraham help propel Dave Brat to one of the biggest upsets in political history and may have helped destroy amnesty legislation in this Congress despite the hundreds of millions spent to push it.
Brat ousted House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) last week when his message tying Cantor to crony capitalism and corporate welfare that stiffs working Americans only resonated after he started to hammer Cantor on his support for amnesty legislation. Brat, an economics professor, often said amnesty was the greatest issue that symbolizes the divide between Wall Street elitists and Main Street Americans.
But Mike Murphy, a conservative-bashing consultant who often acts like the "priests" he so despises, has been proclaiming otherwise, even though he did not even pay attention to the race. Murphy, a top Jeb Bush adviser who wants to destroy any suggestion that Republicans may not like amnesty in order to help his client, referred to Ingraham as a "paper tiger" on Sunday.

Good response.
She sucked three kids into her weird female only world. That’s child abuse IMO.
How do we know that the boys, at least, see no men?
Good point.
Thanks... in principle it might BE that bad, but a world based on cynicism alone will systematically miss the grace of God and deny God the recognition therefor.
I see signs of God desiring and even planning to make a spiritual change to the good yet on the face of this wicked world — perhaps not even yet having given up — but for people to be willing to recognize that work is going to be needed. When people expect God to do nothing BUT punish, then God will in fact comply with their expectations. Because they will have called the demons of hell to lead them by the hand, and will have blocked the gift of Christ out of their visions.
God used evil kings for His purposes. Doesn’t mean we shouldsay bad is good because God might use it.
That’s why Brat won and Cantor lost, right?
Jeb Bush is married to a Latina and does not have the balls to admit that his marriage to a latina influences his thinking....what a dipshit.......
At he same time we should be accurate and make a just judgment. Immature Christians, which form way too great a proportion of all Christians, will use world-think and damn a lot of what they see. Are you truly likening her to an evil king, anyhow?
“She sucked three kids into her weird female only world. Thats child abuse IMO.”
At least one of her children is a male. And she didn’t suck them in, she adopted them. What, does it bother you that she is the breadwinner in the family? Is your ego so fragile? And her world is not weird anymore than you yourself are weird, but then again...
Quick to judge means quickly vulnerable to judgment. It’s ironclad; not even God could excuse someone from that principle because it’s tied to spirit and attitude.
“I dont get why Ingraham is getting all the attention. Brat went on all the talkerss shows. I think Levin has more influence than Laury.”
As far as I know only Laura and Mark would give her the time of day. Rush basically said “you guys are on your own” when a supporter of Brat reached his show a couple of months ago. I didn’t hear anything either way on Hantity, but I’ve never seen him listed as a supporter, until the night Brat actually won.
So between Laura and Mark, sorry Laura wins the personality contest (and the looks contest, LOL), and she also made a major appearance in his district (and that means a lot for that type of race, in terms of motivating people). The effect of their radio shows was mild, at best - as Brat didn’t get jack regarding money from outside of Virginia - they both talked a lot about him, had him on their shows, but it didn’t show up in their campaigns.
And then the CLINCHER, which is what REALLY got Cantor mad and also probably what led to this “paper tiger” comment was when Laura said that we should have traded Cantor for Birdall (instead of the Taliban 5). That was hysterical and put Cantor on the same plane as the traitor Birdall. It was a brilliant line and one that will be remembered.
“She sucked three kids into her weird female only world. Thats child abuse IMO.”
Every child should have two parents, but once in a while one (female) parent is sufficient - provided that parent has some serious gonads too.
I think Laura meets that requirement.
I believe that Laura Ingraham is aware of the limits and dangers of single motherhood. She has male role models for her children. That is she is making an effort to provide father figures for her children.
Yes, it is true that there are far too many single mothers raising children in the world today. A few of them get their children enrolled in the scouting program so they have exposure to solid father figures. Too many are ignored as is evidenced by crime statistics and gang membership.
This is why Mike Murphy is a perennial loser.
Is that so? Well, how do you explain her big support of Mitt Romney in 2012?
Here is an article which popped up in a two-minute Google search which describes Laura's position in 2012 quite the contrary to your suggestion:
09/10/2012
Conservative talk show host Laura Ingraham tore into Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney on her Monday radio show, arguing that the 2012 presidential race was what she called a "gimme election."
Speaking to the GOP, Ingraham said, "If you can't beat Barack Obama with this record, then shut down the party. Shut it down. Start new, with new people."
Ingraham focused her dissatisfaction towards the political consultants Romney hired to run his campaign.
During the Republican primary, Ingraham argued that Romney would have to bring his "A-game" to the general election in order to beat Obama. "I don't know if Mitt Romney can beat him," Ingraham said on ABC's "This Week," recalling a conversation she had with prominent conservatives. (emphasis supplied)

Guessed correctly from the headline it was the RINO zoo keeper Michael Murphy. The fact that that guy is on team Dauphin Bush tell me everything one needs to know. NO MORE BUSHES!
Of course the insufferable Mike Murphy would be an adviser to Jeb.
