President Obama delivered brief comments today on the capture of a man suspected to be involved in the 2012 attack on the Benghazi consulate. The president said the capture sends a clear message to the world that whenever an American is attacked, “no matter how long it takes, we will find those responsible and we will bring them to justice.”
Yesterday U.S. special forces captured Ahmed Abu Khattala in a surprise raid. Khattala had previously denied in a number of interviews he gave that he had any direct involvement in the Benghazi attack.
In his comments today, Obama praised the work of brave men and women who serve the United States all over the world and said, “They need to know this country has their back and we’ll always go after anybody who goes after us.”

It is amazing how anytime Obama’s poll numbers go down he has some great announcement regarding terrorists.
Good job to the special forces who did the capture-I just can’t believe the gall of “the One” saying he “has their back”. Ughhhhhh......
I don’t think this does him any real good. All the other scandals are spinning out of control, and as you said a couple of days ago, too many people think Ben Gazzi was on Dancing with the Stars last year.
Can you imagine Hollywood doing a movie of this? Two hours of watching the guy sip strawberry frappes, then special forces guys show up in the last five minutes of the movie. Everybody leaves the theater and immediately votes five times for anyone with a D after their name . . . .

Denial of requests for security were a dereliction of duty. The lies and misdirection about the "video" after the attack were fraud and malfeasance under the color of authority. The inaction during the attack was something more than that.
The failure to act during the attack is the direct equivalent of desertion IMO.
ONE man had the authority to act that night.
ONE man deserted his post!
