The main objective of the New York Is Home Act, according to Rivera, is to integrate illegal immigrants, who are estranged from participation in civic, economic and political life.
++++++++++
LOL. The main objective of the New York Is Home Act is to generate more votes for Democrats. The Democrats understand that. We Tea Party types understand that. But somehow that obvious truth flies under the radar of the GOPe.

State of NY is already a totalitarian statist cesspool, so letting the aliens vote along with the dead, voters sharing the same name and birthdate at various addresses, and college students who vote in their home towns and in their college towns, shouldn’t be a big deal.

"...Sen. Guestavo Rivera wants to pass legislation to give illegal immigrants the right to vote..."

So, why not just let everybody else in the world vote? What difference does it make?

The main objective of the New York Is Home Act ... is to integrate illegal immigrants, who are estranged from participation in civic, economic and political life.

They're here illegally. They're supposed to be estranged from it.

RE :”The main objective of the New York Is Home Act, according to Rivera, is to integrate illegal immigrants, who are estranged from participation in civic, economic and political life. The legislation not only gives illegal immigrants the right to vote, but establishes a kind of second-tiered citizenship on a state level, in which illegal immigrants can apply for tuition assistance, health insurance and driver’s and professional licenses, among other benefits.
........
But Rivera is confident that his model is right for New York, and right as a model for the rest of the country, although he admits that the bill “certainly will not pass this session,” comparing it to the development of same-sex marriage legislation.”

Sounds like a great place to ship all these kids coming across the border.

Confirmed:

Immigration reform is nothing but a large-scale Democrat voter registration effort.

IMHO

Okay, I own property in two different states. Should I be able to vote in state and local elections in both locations? I can’t and could be subject to arrest if I do.

So if every freeper and tea party member in the country requested an absentee ballot from New York, we could all vote there. Hmmm.

On the positive side, letting illegals vote in New York might hasten the imposition of taxes on accumulated wealth and carried interest which might finally get the wealthy progressives to wake up. So far they’ve avoided the impact of marginal income tax rate increases though loopholes, deferred compensation, realizing income as carried interest, and exorbitant pay increases to offset rising taxes.

The UN and liberal academics are already calling for the imposition of asset, net worth, and wealth taxes. As our open borders policies continue to encourage a flood of unskilled, uneducated, and impoverished people into the land of milk an honey, the ever increasing demands for spreading the wealth will reach the point where income taxes and borrowing can no longer meet the perceived need. Coming next:
1) Taxes on accumulated assets
2) Confiscation of IRA’s, 401K’s and other retirement savings.

The upper classes in New York should watch Dr. Zhivago to see what is going to happen to them if they continue on the current trajectory.

We should exercise our right to demand our justice system indict, try, convict, and sentence DemonicRats, such as from New York, for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

So tell me, Guestavo, why shouldn’t I be able to vote in Mexican elections?

Are you an American Citizen Sen. Guestavo Rivera ?
Well yes you are. Do you know why? Do you understand how?
At some point in history, someone from your family LEGALLY IMMIGRATED to this Country, followed the rules, applied for citizenship, completed the process and were granted Citizenship as Americans. Why do you believe that criminals should be given a privilege that you ancestors worked hard for?
Just Say No to the Invasion of our Country...

Lunatic notion.

That this moron has not been uproariously and immediately laughed out of town is a very bad sign for America.

They already vote so why pass legislation allowing them to vote when all it does is draw attention to that fact?

Why even bother with the pretense of elections? Democrats would just declare a permanent dictatorship of their party. It’s what they want, and no one in the MSM would stop them. Hell, the MSM would provide justification; ending partisanship, needing to do something, breaking the logjam.

No Guestavo, illegal aliens SHOULD NOT HAVE THE RIGHT TO VOTE. Your ass should be deported back to the sewer you crawled out of! If your illegals want to vote, they can stay home and vote. We don’t need more retards voting here than we already have.
