xzins, I believe the petition is open to all to sign, according to the story wherein the petition was linked.
We can’t make the sidebar of FR for some reason and the thread has been posted only once, when it needs to be up every 24 hours to inform all of open signing. I don’t think Jim has been able to see my ping to him for that yet. This is right up Jim’s alley though.
Upthread I begged for sidebar, re-posting, tweeting, Facebooking, texting, emailing, snail mail and smoke signals.
This is a vehicle for all of us to act upon for the purpose of numbers and effect.
About Cruz, I guess I would be stunned if the Texas representatives that were in on the original petition creation and discussion have not already informed him. Crickets. He will say it’s a governor’s call.
My problem is I am unable to pass anything across an empty room on this dang tablet (email went down like Lerner’s!) let alone Senator Cruz.

“The Governor of a State shall call up the States’ National Guard if He/She declares a State of Emergency.” [TEXAS Manual of Common Sense Law].
Currently, there is no Federal “Dream” Law allowing for the physical invasion of Illegal Alien “Children” Invaders from Mexico - - - only the “Executive Order” edicts of a demented Obama that no State Governor has yet had the courage to challenge.
The failure of the Feds to repel the Illegal Alien Invaders should in no way deter the States bordering Mexico from physically repelling these Illegal Alien Invaders by any means necessary, including Concertina Wire Barriers, Flash-bang and tear gas canisters launched by mortars as far into Mexico as possible by heavily armed, State National Guard Troops.
Federal Border Laws are not being enforced, at the order of a Demented Obama, and thus The States along the Southern Border must enforce the Federal and State Border Laws that Obama chooses to not obey.
Since Obama has no Constitutional basis for his actions, let him try to enforce his lawless “Executive Orders.”
As with the First Civil War: STATES’ RIGHTS ARE WORTH FIGHTING FOR!

I had hoped this story would light up FR, get sidebared and the open petition well exposed, with story reposts, but don’t think Jim has seen my pings yet.

Remember when FR was going through a severe crash, what, a couple of years ago maybe, and for us desperate ones you wrote up a post on which you suggested we try going into settings and removing part of our FR side bar to help on our troubles? I did that and on my old desktop.
When the problems were masterfully solved and i got this tablet, I didn’t know how to restore “front page”, etc., so I apologize for thinking you and Rick Perry were both out of town! Ha!
