Xinhua) -- U.S. President Barack Obama is in a tough spot as Islamic militants sweep across northern Iraq, overtaking two major cities as tens of thousands of Iraqi government troops reportedly abandon their posts.
Fighters from the Sunni group Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) are reportedly beheading victims in a bid to instill fear as they sweep through the country's north, and have vowed to attack the national capital city of Baghdad.
The mayhem puts Obama in a sticky position. After more than a decade of wars in the Middle East, trillions of taxpayer dollars spent and the deaths of nearly 5,000 U.S. troops, war-weary Americans are wary of more involvement in the volatile region.
But at the same time, foreign policy circles fret that Islamic radicals could gain a foothold in a country they could use as a base to launch terror strikes against the U.S., as al-Qaeda did when it used Afghanistan as a launching pad to strike New York and Washington on Sept. 11, 2001.

Well, if you remember the '03 invasion there was plenty of that going on, with all angles including inconsistent reports being covered. Why is this different?

I just meant being in the place of LBJ in the public’s eyes that led him to not run again, a unique situation indicating the level that a sitting president can fall to during war.
A few weeks of TV coverage, and Obama would be finished politically, a republican could be driven out of office with it.
Betcha the militants taking over Iraq are still upset with that same video that caused the Benghazi attack? Meanwhile, as Ms Clinton prepares to take over the Whitehouse, she proclaims once again, “What difference does it make? These Iraqi humans are only pawns? Who are they to stand in my way to become the MOST POWERFUL PERSON IN THE WORLD?”
Eleven Ways in which Obama could be removed from office:
By being declared a foe of the Constitution, and therefore an enemy of the people;
By being declared gravely mentally, physically, or morally unfit;
By being put on a sabatical, whereas another permanently takes his position;
By being persuaded by his Party, family, friends, polls, etc, that he should resign;
By Impeachment;
By being declared Persona non Grata, man without a country, by Congress;
By being declared too dangerous to continue; By being judged mentally unable to understand the duties of the presidency;
By declaring obsequiousness to another sovereign being Islam, Marxism, or another;
By being disappeared, and relocated on a foreign Island, like Napoleon. 
Obama could be sued by state or individual claiming he is risking American lives by refusing to protect the citizens from dangerous outside forces.

Obama’s in a tough spot. Nothing like all the people trapped in the Green Zone with no way out. This has all the earmarks of a tragedy in waiting.
He has no honor, so it might be difficult for him to do the honorable thing.
The reality of the situation is this:
We are in over his head.
And more than half of the country loathes him.
I believe the 22nd has already placed him into that territory securely.
His “tough spot” should be a long jail term for treason.
