Political candidates have been holding babies for many years. A (now deceased) cousin of mine was held as a baby by Warren Harding during Harding's 1920 presidential campaign. It's never bad politics for candidates to hold babies (as long as the baby isn't dropped).

So what's the big deal? We all know that her Royal Thighness is a candidate, anyway, at least until further notice. This thing shouldn't even be a news story, yet ABC and the rest of the MSM are determined to make it one.
