RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. (AP) It's perhaps appropriate that President Barack Obama is vacationing this weekend in California, where the state flag features a roaming grizzly. The restless president, who has compared himself to a caged animal on recent wanderings by declaring the "bear is loose," took a long Father's Day weekend away with his wife and older daughter.
The visit to the desert resort area of Palm Springs is one of the ways Obama has been trying to escape during his sixth year cloistered in the White House. "I think frankly we've all been through a cold and bitter winter and the bear has cabin fever," said Obama friend and senior adviser Valerie Jarrett. "His cabin is a little bit bigger and harder to escape than most."
Obama has fantasized about being "on a beach somewhere drinking out of a coconut" or simply being able to walk out of the White House gate and stroll around unrecognized. Obama has golfed every weekend since Washington's weather got clear enough to allow it in April, save a week when he was in Asia. Those close to Obama say his frequent golf outings are less about a love of the game than a desire to take a long walk outside. Obama also has been seen walking the darkened White House grounds, late into the evening, sometime with one of his dogs.

That's exactly right. He doesn't want to be president. He just wants to be a celebrity.
....and the imprisoned Marine is only a hundred or so miles from Rancho Mirage — not that this enters Zer0’s head.
The Dude has no verifiable history.
“In California, Obama has worked out mornings at a gym near the Rancho Mirage home where the first family is staying with White House decorator Michael Smith and his partner, James Costos, the American ambassador to Spain.”

He is staying overnight at the home of his interior decorator and his partner, Michael Smith, who he also had labeled the White House interior decorator. According to Obama himself, “I think frankly we’ve all been through a cold and bitter winter and the bear has cabin fever”. When freed from the White House environment, he exclaims, “the bear is loose”.
Ergo, he is staying at the gay couple’s house “to let the bear out” or to return to his “bear cave”. Maybe it’s just gay-speak.
Obama looks gay, no matter what he is doing.
Cruising the darkened White House grounds?
Secret service code name: “The goose is loose.”
LOL! If ever a single picture depicted the media’s relationship with Obama, that is the one!
Contrast to W, whom I have read loved every minute of living at the White House. Personally, I think it would be fabulous! BO and the Mooch hate America that’s why they hate living at the WH.
I am convinced Obama is a homosexual. I’m just not sure what Michelle is.
Quite truthfully, those believers closest to them should be sensitive to their children. When this much perversion is loosed publicly, its usually only the tip of the iceberg.
FWIW, per the Desert Sun article, one of the 4 courses he’s played at in the Palm Springs area was known as the Indio Muni course, which is in the lower tier on quality. It’s improved than earlier years, but not in the same league as a hundred other courses in the area. The others he has played at tend to be all gay, though he did play at Indian Wells, which is one of the better courses around.
What an odd family. He spends Father’s Day with one of his minor children and his wife, where is the youngest? Bizarre.
I long for the day that 0bama and his Harpy wife move out of the WH.
