RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. (AP) — It's perhaps appropriate that President Barack Obama is vacationing this weekend in California, where the state flag features a roaming grizzly. The restless president, who has compared himself to a caged animal on recent wanderings by declaring the "bear is loose," took a long Father's Day weekend away with his wife and older daughter.
The visit to the desert resort area of Palm Springs is one of the ways Obama has been trying to escape during his sixth year cloistered in the White House. "I think frankly we've all been through a cold and bitter winter and the bear has cabin fever," said Obama friend and senior adviser Valerie Jarrett. "His cabin is a little bit bigger and harder to escape than most."
Obama has fantasized about being "on a beach somewhere drinking out of a coconut" or simply being able to walk out of the White House gate and stroll around unrecognized. Obama has golfed every weekend since Washington's weather got clear enough to allow it in April, save a week when he was in Asia. Those close to Obama say his frequent golf outings are less about a love of the game than a desire to take a long walk outside. Obama also has been seen walking the darkened White House grounds, late into the evening, sometime with one of his dogs.

Utter bullcrap. This man and his beast of a wife have gone out of their ways to appear in every cultural event, magazine, television show, and media event in the nation. They love it.
And poor Obama. So wore out from all his vacations, 4 hour work days, golf, fundraising ...BOO HOO
Palm Springs is a bubble. A little green spot in the middle of a wasteland. He must look out at all the desolation surrounding that place and yearn for a few more years to make all of America look like that.
Give it up, Nedra, his rep is beyond a PR patch job. He needs a long weekend when any body else with the crises he has to manage would be buried in national security meetings? Give him $100 million and have him abdicate, fly to his favorite beach and stay there.
What is this, his 20th vacation in 2014 alone. ISIS is closing in on Baghdad beheading people on the way, MS-13 gangs are invading from Mexico, what to do, what to do? Hey I know, let’s take another vacation.

Come to think of it, in Chris Wallace’s interview with Mike Rogers on Iraq/ AlQuaeda today, I’m not sure Obama’s name even came up. I’m sure Kerry, Hagel and Rice were not mentioned. The Zero team.
And I'll bet you a million to one that he's still smoking.

Mark Levin reads Obamas schedule every now and then on his show, and it’s amazing what this guy does which is virtually nothing, it’s usually something like this:
11am - 12 noon: Meeting with Senior advisor. 2pm to 5pm: Fundraiser. 6pm travel to New York city for fundraiser.
So basically what he does is work an hour or two a day then goes to parties, then starts another vacation every 2 - 4 weeks.

Last I heard about his schedule, there were days that only had lunch blocked out and then jetting off to a fundraiser in the afternoon.
It’s a JOB, not party time. WHO IS RUNNING THIS COUNTRY??!!!
