Jeh Johnson: Welfare State Doesn't Draw Illegal-Alien Children to U.S.
June 13, 2014 - 5:25 AM
By Penny Starr
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson spoke about the U.S. government's response to the growing number of youth crossing the border illegally on June 12, 2014 in Washington, D.C. (CNSNews.com/Penny Starr)
(CNSNews.com) Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said the wide range of services the government is providing to unaccompanied minors who cross the border into the U.S. illegally will not encourage more of them to break the law.
Do government subsidies no longer create demand?
BS. And I’ll post it again: How did unaccompanied children breach the well defended Mexico border, and make it more than a thousand miles through Mexico to the US, and then inside our border? Who escorted them? Who paved the way?
This should be asked over and over and over, until there are some answers.
Barbara Streisand!
Will the National Park Service be getting rid of its “Do Not Feed the Bears” signs any time soon? No, of course not, because even they know that free stuff attracts moochers.
Yeah. They’re just coming here to get one of those free, nifty little U.S. flags to wave, right Jeh? You moron. Didn’t you learn anything is school?
So in other words, reality is whatever we say it is...
Never mind your ly’in eyes...
This is my question too. Those who are dropping those kids off at the Mexican border should be arrested for child abuse.
Good. Then there should be no problem with denying them any benefits
Oh no of course it doesnt. And the world is safer than its ever been. And AL-Qaeda is on the run. And Lois Lerners emails were lost due to a glitch. And the “Great Society” hasnt destroyed the two-parent household in the black community. And you can raise the minimum wage with impunity and add regulations to business without any negative consequences to job growth, consumer prices and the economy whatsoever.
Oh yeah, and dont the emperors...I mean Obama’s new clothes just look marvelous.
Oh I’m sure they’re just coming for the nice views and English lessons.....
Children don’t naturally travel thousands of miles on their own without organization by adults, especially in cultures intolerant of wayward children.
Parents wouldn’t let their children meander towards a foreign country, hundreds to thousands of miles away, amongst a culture of infamous coyotes and picayunish frauds likely to entice them into human trafficking.
Even the impoverished have human natures which value the care of their children greater than this.
IMHO, the movement might include orphans and delinquents emptied from institutions and redirected to our borders, orchestrated by well financed and organized pockets.
This an operational campaign well planned by others behind this.
This person gives stupid a bad name.

No theyre not drawn here
Theyre driven here...
I am amazed that no one has blown the whistle on this yet. A mass migration like this must have attracted attention along its route.
Enough money to make them and their family back home Rich in one month FOR FREE ,na they would not like that at all
Paid political hack dumbass. This is the best and the brightest? We are so screwed if anyone thinks empty suit is anything other than utterly stupid and devoid of reason.
The last government that lied so openly to its citizens was supposed to last a thousand years...
Jeh heads the DHS. Our homeland is not secure. Him and his enablers have got to go.
