The president and the first lady arrived at the Palm Springs International Airport Friday night after visiting an Indian reservation earlier in the day.

The Obamas are staying with White House decorator Michael Smith and his partner, U.S. Ambassador to Spain James Costos, at their vacation home.
The presidents handlers scoped out some golf courses and gave a list to Obama just in case he wants to spend Fathers Day on the links.

Obama plans to take a short flight to Orange County Saturday to raise money for the Democratic National Committee at a closed-door event at a private home.
Then hes scheduled to deliver the UC Irvine commencement address at Angel Stadium in Anaheim. It may be a hot ticket, but some students are giving the ceremony the cold shoulder after organizers issued a long list of what graduates cannot bring into the stadium, including leis and balloons.
The couple has no public events scheduled on Sunday, according to the White House.

Imagine if this was a Republican President doing this.

Enjoy yourself Barry, you’ve really earned it.
You work so hard.
Destroying over two centuries of history and tradition is no easy task.
Time to take a load off, kick back, and admire your handiwork.
Isn’t a dad supposed to spend FATHER”S DAY with his kids? Maybe they aren’t his kids.
I wish he played golf even more....he does less damage that way.
‘Aides also say hell be in frequent contact with his national security team for updates on the violence in Iraq’
Nice afterthought.
Barry will be golfing tomorrow, unless there’s a bathhouse he wants to try out.
“Call me if you need me.”
DroneDaddy is just commiserating with the Iraqis, proving that he too can weather a hot and sandy location where the air is filled with flying objects. I'm sure he believes the Iraqis understand that his golf swing represents the Iraqis' efforts to "strike" back.
THIS MAN IS NOT OUR PRESIDENT
Should read:
Obamas Kick Off Long Weekend Of Sodomy.
I agree-let him play golf all day, every day-we don’t need to help him add anything more to his resume-let the fools who hire him next deal with what is there...
In my opinion everyone attending this meeting while our border is is in chaos for the purpose of tearing down the economy is an absolute scum.
The Mideast is on the verge of all out sunni Shiite holy war and I am on a long weekend with my wife. (Well, actually a week away house sitting for in-laws.) And I bet I know more about what’s going on there than the resident.
WTF???? Think I’ll go back to lurk. I’m too angry.
yeh....I noticed it, too. I think they were on a TV show exhibiting their house. Pretty disgusting people....and there IS something wrong with that....Seinfeld be damned.
We are literally on the precipice of a worldwide nuclear holocaust and Obama is busy golfing and collecting money from billionaires.
But then I really don’t want Obama making any decisions. Every one he has made to date has been disastrous for the US and the World.
Enjoy your golf game Obozo. The world is better off when you are off.
It’s my day off too. Excuse me while I go and buy some MRE’s and some ammo.
The media can never admit anything is wrong as long as he’s in office. They got him elected, they have propped him up, they have enabled all of this.
To publicize his failures is to admit such problems exist in the soviet state, and that is the one thing they would rather die than do. To publicly admit that anything is wrong.
