Just a quick note before I leave to visit with my 80+ year old father.
I am an avid reader and have been since before I was a teen. In all those years I have enjoyed many types of fiction including Apocalypse and post-apocalypse fiction. And I must say in all due condor that what we are witnessing over the last few years is so much like the prelude to disaster that it isn’t even funny at all.
I like to read, but really now... I really don’t want to star in such a story myself. Unfortunately it seems like the people coordinating this want us all to do that.
Today feels like the last chapter or so before the Boom, crash, bang of the book as it kicks off into high gear. And unfortunately for us all, we can’t put down this book and go do something else for awhile.
