That’s kind of what I would think... if a child too little to be responsible if he chanced to encounter a gun (e.g. the Eddie Eagle plan, as much as it has been criticized) did and got hurt or killed, that would be negligent homicide as much as having done the same with a bottle of poison.
Trouble is, we have a lot of evil here. I think in a dim way, even liberals know it. What they usually don’t know is the Antidote. Making a rule is useless if the Lord isn’t invited to watch over the situation as well.
