For a guy who claims "I don't like to demonize my opponents," Michael Eric Dyson does a dynamite job of it!
And thus, guest-hosting on MSNBC today for Ed Schultz, Dyson ripped Republicans who express "all this Christian rhetoric that we're sanctified and saved and believe in the righteousness of God," yet have the audacity to disagree with him on granting amnesty to illegal immigrants.

“I guess as Christians, were supposed to love all law breakers.”
Well, yes of course
But, its a non-sequitar to think loving them means to give them amnesty or welfare etc...
“Have people lost their minds? Are we about to lose ours?”
This guy is not representative of Christians, if that’s what you mean.
Liberals always try to use the Gospel for their own things.
“Hurting immigrants”? What is this guy talking about? Our immigration laws are the most generous on earth. Our laws offer citizenship to many.
Illegal aliens are not immigrants, they are foreigners here in violation of immigration laws.
This man’s foolishness is a result of the corruption of language, eg the “undocumented immigrant” lie instead of “illegal alien” reality.
Ceding language, allowing its corruption, can not be allowed.
His maiden name was Eric?
Never heard of this clown, and I think we would be better off to just ignore such idiots.
If Republicans offered 60 million Chinese free citizenship in exchange for voting Republican do you think the fools at MSNBC would ‘catch it’?
Bet on it.
The ‘oh so compassionate ones’ would be screaming like stuck pigs. The ever gullible ones at the LA Times and New York Times would catch it too.
Jerks.
Perfect! Well said!
Ahhh another liberal twisting bible quotes to further anti-biblical political purposes. Nasty Pelosi claims her faith holds abortion as the highest sacrament. “Turn the other cheek” is used to viciously justify attacking Christianity. COuntless Jesus quotes are justified to rob and steal tax payers and redistribute wealth. Yet we never hear “Beat you ploughshares in to swords” or “Sell your cloak and buy a sword.”
That is one of the saddest things I have ever read.
