Can you say regional war?
Regional war. (I knew you could.)
Seriously, if ISIS can consolidate and extend its gains, this will turn the situation around in Syria. Assad's days are numbered. Then Turkey gets drawn in. Iran will be hard pressed not to intervene. Forget NATO.

I really don’t care one way or the other. I have no intent to fight their war or support fighting their war.
Any body who does is welcome to go fight on their own dime.

No it won’t. And no, I didn’t waste my time reading it.
If you want to fight their war, hike up your big boy shorts and go fight.

A regional war in the Middle East will be something no country in the world can ignore. For one thing, what do you suppose prices at the pump will be? If you can pump it.

Isn't this shaping up to be a Shi'ite and Sunni Moslems war with Syria, Shi'a Iraq, and Iran fighting the rebels, Sunni Iraq, Turkey, Saudia Arabia?
I don't think that we would have any NATO obligations if so.

We’re $17 trillion in debt and our country is collapsing. Anyone who wants to continue the trend is no different than Obama.

See if you are monitoring ISIS traffic on twitter they keep using this word “baqiyah” meaning leftovers.
That refers to those muslims that resist the call of the Caliphate.
They have no intention of compromise nor taking borders their goal is transformation and transformation only.
They will convert based on their shared traditions of Al Mahdi and the Shi’tes belief in the 12th Iman and their belief in the Prophet.
They will not stop with Muslims.

What’s funny is the Al Qaeda leadership counsel has issued a statement condemning ISIS aggression in Iraq.
Yet MSM still have not come to terms with who ISIS is.
Why? Well we all know why.....lol

It’s a meaningless gesture since the rebels control the entire border.

Is there ANY chance that the weapons and training the US supplied to “friendly rebels” haven’t gotten to ISIS? What happens when (not if) the situation spills over into Turkey? Turkey’s in NATO. Will we end up fighting against the terrorists we armed in Syria?
