Sen. John Cornyn criticized President Obama for creating a “human magnet” with his unlawful approach to immigration enforcement, but admitted that Americans had a duty to care for the children that were flooding into the country.
“They need to be taken care of, I mean they’ve been left, basically dumped at America’s doorstep, and we need to treat them compassionately we need to make sure they get the care they need,” Cornyn explained to reporters on Capitol Hill on Tuesday afternoon.
Cornyn pointed out that children as young as four years old had traveled as many as 1,200 miles, suffering horrific conditions on their journey to America.
“If the message is that America’s door is open to anybody and everyone who wants to come here, people are going to flood in,” Cornyn said. “In this case some of the most vulnerable that you can imagine.”
He also shared discussions he had with border patrol agents who were worried about 200 sex offenders mixing in with the population of 49,000 detained immigrants since last year.
Cornyn did not say whether or not the children should be deported.
“I think we need to make sure they’re OK now,” said Cornyn adding that they should be probably be “reunited with family members.”

6. How FOUR YEAR OLD children knew where the US was and why did they come here ???
Send them to Chicago, Marin County, DC beltway suburbs, every town where there’s an Ivy League school (double serving for Boston)....you get the idea.
Are you fricken kidding me? Do you honestly think a four year old navigated the desert terrain to get here? No, they were brought here by adults. Send all the MFers back, then imprison the ones responsible for orchestrating this onslaught.
Homeland Security has been in El Salvador, Nicarauga, and Honduras working to get them here...it’s a plot. There are some small children and a few adults but majority of children are 15-16 and will be voters in 2016.

Two comments:
1) Brit Hume said last night that several of the kids came to western VA to shelter. He was impressed with the manners and the respect the children had.
2) If the kids can live with American families, they will be more integrated to our culture AND our Constitution.
We already care for Children dumped on the street in Detroit, Chicago, Gary Indiana etc, why must we care for the REST of the world children???

Put them in orphanages in their home countries. Televise it to show that we will see that the children are taken care of - by their own nations.

That would be heartless and cruel. You clearly dump him at the local Mexican City Hall, or at a local church back over the goal line, then ring the bell and run like hell. The street is kinda cold hearted. But im the sensitive type.

I give us no more than 2 years before this has succeeded in bringing down our country. Look at all of the parries the progressives have made— September 11 attack, recession, bail-outs, Obamacare, etc. Looks like this tsunami of backwards, disease-carrying aliens is the final thrust.

Hate to be mean, but they need to be sent home on a plane, now. They are not our kids, they don’t have a right to be here and how a parent can send their kids alone with a coyote to smuggle them across the border is beyond me.
What did they think would happen to their kids, people in the US would just open their homes and take them in?
From what I’ve read about how some of the coyotes rape and desert people they’ve been paid to bring across the border, there is no way I’d ever send my child with one of them.
