Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer said Friday she is “disturbed and outraged” after she was informed by federal officials that not only has the government been shipping illegal immigrants out of Texas and “dumping” them in her state, it has no plans to stop.
“This is a crisis of the federal government’s creation, and the fact that the border remains unsecure – now apparently intentionally - while this operation continues full-steam ahead is deplorable,” she said in a statement.

As Andrew Malcolm has noted on these pages, the Department of Homeland Security has been buying lots of ammo, enough by one calculation to fight the equivalent of a 24-year Iraqi War. Some have speculated about a link between the stockpiling between candidate Obama's off-prompter campaign remarks about a national security force and the stockpiling by DHS of more than 1.6 billion (with a 'b') bullets.
DHS has been buying more than bullets. As we noted in a recent editorial, DHS is seeking to acquire 7,000 5.56x45mm NATO "personal defense weapons" (PDW) — also known as "assault weapons" when owned by civilians. The request, issued on June 7, 2012, calls these AR-15 variants "select-fire" weapons, meaning they can be both semi-automatic and automatic.
We are reminded of a report released in April 2009 by Janet Napolitano's Department of Homeland Security, "Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment," saying conservatives and the unemployed represent a clear and present danger. "The economic downturn and the election of the first African American president present unique drivers for right-wing radicalization and recruitment," it warned.
On Page 2 it ominously warns of "rightwing extremism," which may include "groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration."

Yet, the Federal, some State and a few municipal governments can and do provide various methods by which minor children may legally be given information and medical interventions against their parents’ wishes and often without their knowledge.
I do expect that there are Federal judges who would use the specious *humanitarian* claim to obviate parental prerogatives.

WSJ: The Federal government is seizing the substantial profits of the government-chartered mortgage firms, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, taking for itself the property and potential gains of private investors the government induced to help prop up these companies. This conduct is intolerable.” A scathing article follows--a must read.

I think so! How are kids getting across that Southern mexico border, and making it all the way to mexico’s Northern border with us? That’s a long, long way! I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re being bused up by the mexican government, and then shuffled off to coyotes to cross our border. Something is just not right here!
