Senator John McCain, the most booked Sunday talk show guest of all time originally supported the Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl prisoner swap in February, but now he's suddenly leading the charge against it.
Senator John McCain, the most booked Sunday talk show guest has a big problem when it comes to the Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl prisoner swap that President Obama signed off on. Originally he was all for the trade of prisoners back in February, but if you listen to him now, it's like that never ever happened. Scarce properly called him out over it by saying: The craven politics of John McCain are nothing new. They aren't, but what's just as frustrating is that CNN had the chance to question him on his new position, but failed to do so. Will the media ever call him on it?

McCains reversals on Bowe Bergdahl
It was just last week when Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) delivered a Memorial Day message in which she urged Americans to keep Army Sergeant Bowe Bergdahl in our thoughts and prayers. She added, I renew my call on the Defense Department to redouble its efforts to find Sergeant Bergdahl and return him safely to his family.
Less than a week later, the Defense Department announced that Bergdahl had been freed and hell be returned safely to his family prompting a new round of criticism from Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.).
But all things considered, these conflicting statements are mild compared to Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and his recent reversals, highlighted today by Doug Mataconis.

He’s providing top-cover for his faithful sidekick Pansy Graham (R-SC).
Another Arizona wake up call.
John McCain on Bowe Bergdahl: 'It's done'
Darn it John! You survived a horrific experience. You served many years in the Senate, and I have no doubts you gave it a good effort. Now you are old, feeble, and wealthy. I want to like and respect you... if you would JUST GO AWAY.
McCain, you are making me hate you.
Is he going to support the execution of Bergdahl which better damn well happen if it’s proven he collaborated with the Taliban to kill US vets which so far looks to be the case? Remember Private Slovik in WW2? Executed by firing squad just for desertion.
BTW, this isn’t about McCain.
It’s ABOUT THE MARXIST.
Please keep the FOCUS on the MARXIST.
He’s trying to “back up” Lindsey’s assertions.
Go home, John...you’re drunk!
McCain has lost his mind in the last few years.
Whenever I hear McCain, or Graham speak, all I can think of is political grandstanding. Of all the people in Congress, those two do absolutely nothing to motivate me, or sway my opinion.
Obama spokesperson: "The meeting will come to order."
Obama spokesperson: "I remind all the good senators that the NSA knows EVERYTHING about each and every one of you. Now, who's not with us"?
Obama spokesperson: "Good. Everyone's on the same page. Meeting adjourned."
John McCain is the worst kind of scumbag. Even worse than Obama in some ways. At least Obama doesn’t try to pretend to like us like John (My friend) McCain.
He’s the Eddie Haskell of politics.
Oh gosh, he’s senile.
That’s a good point, onyx. Although I despise McCain as much as anyone, this story is probably an attempt to take pressure off of BO:
Crooks and Liars
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Crooks and Liars is a left-leaning American blog founded by John Amato. Journalist Susan Madrak is the managing editor. Along with John Amato, frequent contributors include Nicole Belle, Logan Murphy, Mike Finnigan, David Neiwert, SilentPatriot, Fran Langum[1][2] Nonny Mouse,[3] Kenneth Quinnell,[4] and Howie Klein.
The blog first appeared on the Internet in August 2004. It was one of the first political blogs to feature vlogs (video blogs) causing Amato to be referred to as “The Vlogfather”.[citation needed]. The site contains an audio and video archive of various political events, television, and radio shows. Originally it only retransmitted audio and video of these events; however, in late 2005 it began to cover breaking news stories and distribute their own original audio interviews.
Along with a variety of clips from television news media, the site frequently features clips from cable programs such as The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Colbert Report, Hardball with Chris Matthews, The Rachel Maddow Show (TV series), and Countdown with Keith Olbermann.
On several occasions, flying when he had the drink taken, he was lost. Over the Chesapeake. He actually on one occasion, landed at at a small airport to ASK DIRECTIONS! He was notorious; a slovenly drunkard, a bar fighter and whorehound but he did have one thing in common with Bergdahl: he was often AWOL.
Several admirals in the family got him through flight school over the objections of his instructors, and kept him out of trouble for the sake of the memory of Dear Olde Dad, a bit of a WWII hero who died a day after VJ Day.
