Hagel/0bama is a liar. On the one hand he says they didn't negotiate but on the other he says they didn't notify Congress as required by law because of a timeline.

Hagel/0bama is a liar.

Absolutely incorrect.

Hagel is telling the absolute truth in the strictist sense.

The definition of NEGOTIATION

Negotiation is a dialogue between two or more people or parties intended to reach an understanding, resolve points of difference, to gain advantage for an individual or collective, or to craft outcomes to satisfy various interests.

With Hagel there was no haggle.

Hagel and Obama just flat turned over five of the worst terrorists held at Gitmo in return for an Army deserter who went AWOL because he was a terrorist sympathizer and who potentially has been providing aid to the enemy these last several years.

Hagel and Obama had no intention of trying to reach an understanding with the Taliban or Al Qaeda , nor did they wish to resolve points of difference with the Taliban and Al Qaeda because Obama has no points of difference with the Taliban and Al Qaeda and Obama has been doing everything in his power to support these terror groups.

There obviously was no attempt by Hagel and Obama to to gain advantage for the United States or the Western world, nor were there attempts to craft outcomes to satisfy various interests - Hagel and Obama just unilaterally released five bad guys in what is seen by the entire Islamic World as major victory by and for Islamic terror.

This was a totally one sided deal, done in secret that puts Americans at risk of being kidnaped by terrorists as fodder for prisoner swaps and gives Al Qaeda ah massive propaganda boost in the Muslim

So Hagel was absolutely correct, he and Obama did NOT negotiate with terrorists, they just gave the terrorists what they wanted with no negotiation involved.

To determine what Obama and Hagel DID do , one would have to look up words in the dictionary like Surrender, Submission to Islam, Treason, AId , Comfort and a few other choice descriptive words.

To the best of my knowledge, Hagle has not denied doing any of the above so we cannot accuse him of lying

And the Benghazi attack was spontaneous and caused by a video. Does anyone but the morons on MSNBC buy into this crap any longer?

The Haqqani network was holding Bergdahl, not the Taliban. But the released terrorists were all Taliban, not Haqqani.

There’s a strong possibility that there was some money transferred along with prisoners. That would mean the Obama Administration funded terrorists, which they have done before.

If this isn’t dug up fast, I will have lost all hope for the legitimacy of our government.

I will believe Hagel when there is an unnegotiated prisoner exchange with Mexico. One American Marine in Mexican prison for all Mexican citizens in American jails, prisons, penitentiaries and other detainment facilities.

I guess if you capitulate to the terrorists demands without making a single counter offer, then you haven’t “negotiated” with the terrorists.

They didn’t negotiate, they just capitulated. We apparently have no policy regarding capitulating to the terrorists.

Our policy is that we just won’t “negotiate” with them.

Wonder what Obama’s Chicago Coven has on Hagel. No one would issue such an ignorant statement unless they were threatened.

Hungover Hagel speaks. He furloughs nurses at Walter Reed, saying we “Don't have the money” to pay their salaries — and the gives Billions of the US budget to the Muslim Brotherhood.

Hagel is correct. There was no negotiation. The Taliban told us what they wanted. We gave it to them. Sooner or later, we would have given it to them anyway.

.... If they didn’t negotiate with terrorists .... they why was it so important to release the top five Taliban Generals (aka Terrorists) as a conditional requirement for the release of one possibly AWOL Soldier?

“We didn’t negotiate with terrorists,” Mr. Hagel said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

No kidding. If we had negotiated then we might have gotten something out of it for us. Instead, all we did was give the enemy some gifts.

Come now, I can’t believe they just abjectly surrendered to avoid negotiating. They must have initially demanded way more than just 5 terrorists released. Or will they be discount trading on volume?
