ORLANDO, Fla. A request for money led to a fight which left one man shot dead outside an Orlando convenience store Sunday morning.
Orange County deputies were called to a 7-Eleven in the 800 block of Lee Rd. around 5 a.m. Sunday in reference to a shooting.
Once on scene, deputies found a man in his late 20s in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Investigators say the shooting victim had approached a customer at the store, identified as a man in his 40s, and asked for money.

Thanks for the info. It is always good to know and have a plan ahead of time.
I know what you were wondering. (snicker)
Both customer and the dead guy were white. The race pimps can rest easy today.
Ha ha ha ha aaaaaaa! I’m surprised he didn’t ask if you needed a copilot.
You might want to post that over at DU. No one here will take your advice. lol
The other option is to learn how to say “I’m sorry, but I don’t speak English” in some exotic foreign language that nobody begging for money in the U.S. would ever understand. LOL.
Bttt
I live right off Lee Rd...this is getting to be a REALLY bad part of town.
For a while it was big here in Calif too. Guy would come up to you with a gas can and ask if you would give him a gallon of gas while you were pumping.
I would see them coming and look them in the eye and shake my head and say, “NO!”. Occasionally they would get abusive but if they came in range they were gunna get doused with gasoline.
Hasn’t happened in a while though.
SIGINT or ELINT? or both?
Condition Yellow is warranted for most ANY large metro nowadays, particularly during the low-light hours.
And girls, never leave your purse on the car seat with unlocked doors while you pump gas. There’s been a rash of thugs driving up, snatching purses of the car seats and taking off before you even know what’s happening!
Open source - Just had a spot on a local tv channel.
They might want to avoid Pennsylvania.
Isn’t Philadelphia still in Pa? You won’t find dirtbags in rural areas where gun owners live, it is bad for their health.
The only difference in concealed carry law in Philadelphia and the rest of the state, is that you apply at the police department's gun permit unit instead of the county sheriff's office and that the same license is required for open carry. (Though they can make your life miserable if you open carry) You also have to wait about 8 weeks to get it. In some counties you can walk in and walk out less than an hour later. A license issued in any county is good in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
Wow, this happens to me fairly often in a decent part of Fort Worth next to a not-so-decent part. Usually I’m being “profiled.”
On the west side of I-4; the east side takes you to Winter Park, where all the high class people are (Rollins College, Morse Museum, etc.), while the west side used to have middle-level hotels, which are now lower-level.
Removing the blinders for a moment, we have been in the Obama depression for years now. The middle class is being strongly squeezed, with many becoming poor, and many of the poor are leading hand to mouth lives.
Were it not distorted by government and charity food aid, by now we would have Obamavilles full of starving people.
For many, begging and crime start to appear more reasonable. However, because much of the citizenry are now armed, it is a great persuader to the new criminals to not be violent criminals, as it could get them shot.
Except for the stupid minority, like this guy shot at the gas station.
At the same time, there is now a quiet explosion of non-violent crimes, such as shoplifting, petty theft, you name it. I imagine that right now there is also a major upturn in non-streetwalking prostitution. Typically women in their 20s and 30s, working out of suburbia, with a limited number of customers who are discreet.
Such women and their customers are almost never arrested.
“He hates these cans.”
