Fox News announced Wednesday that actress Stacey Dash has been hired as a contributor to provide cultural analysis and commentary across the networks daytime and prime time programming.
The news is not going over too well on the left, particularly in the black community Dash is of African-American and Mexican descent.
Stacey is an engaging conversationalist whose distinctive viewpoints amongst her Hollywood peers have spawned national debates, Executive Vice President of Programming Bill Shine said in a statement. Were pleased to have her join Fox News.
Hysterically funny argument on NYC bus between chill guy and angry lady
Dash, best known for her role in the 1995 movie Clueless, has drawn scorn from the left before, having come out in support of Republican Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential election she was outspoken about the reaction to that decision.
Perhaps I publicly endorsed Romney from a slightly naïve place, thinking that I could speak my voice without being criticized in such racially charged and hateful tones, she wrote in an editorial for TMZ.
The conservative actress was in the news earlier this month when she took to Twitter in support of the movie Moms Night Out, a family comedy portraying women in conventional roles.
Wednesdays announcement brought out more of the racially charged hateful tones Dash spoke of, as seen on Twitter. While many of the tweets are being deleted by users once they realize their hatred is on full display,

If she don’t look like passed around scooter trash I don’t know what does
This is worth watching from last month. She could be an asset for Fox.
She is very well spoken, not a mindless pretty face bimbo.

Two tour VN Marine. 0311, and one of the best people I know, crazy as a sh#t house rat, good people.
DAMN, her parents must be proud!
The Left senses their peril. In addition to red-blooded males, Dash is likely to be a hit with girls and young women in their tweens, teens, and twenties. A generation from now, we may have a Black Republican woman conservative as President who was first drawn to conservative ideas because Stacey Dash made them seem cool and smart. I wish Stacey Dash all possible success.
Dang, son.
Nor had I, until recently on this forum. God bless her, she worked instead of mooching (though the line of work is not respected) and improved herself to the point where she could be hired by a major news organization.
And the bonus is, she irritates the progs.
Lots’a cream in that coffee, as one of my black shipmates used to say half-a-hundred years ago!
Darned few of us are!
I assert that she irritates them because she doesn’t choose to “identify as black” in order to get special considerations for hiring, etc.
She is well spoken, and smoking hot. Unlike, say Corrine Brown.
I would estimate her to be 1/4 to 1/8 black, but she would very much be considered black by other blacks if she was a Lib.
She is perhaps a shade lighter than Halle Berry, and people accept Halle as black.
She is one person who should have facial tattoos. Couldn’t hurt...
This is what the Left is afraid of, and why they have their knives out for her.
Conservatism cannot be allowed to seem "cool" to young people.
Did you know that Beavis was the smart one?
unhh, unhh, you typed, Butt...
as if there is any possible way to define conservatism to include stripping for public consumption
stripping for public consumption = unfettered capitalism?
;-)
All too true.
Capitalism and conservatism are not the same thing
