A furious Richard Martinez delivered a four-letter stomping to do-nothing politicians who have called him to cry crocodile tears over his sons brutal killing.
I dont give a s--- that you feel sorry for me, a weeping Martinez said about the congressional condolence calls...
Get to work and do something . . . Getting a call from a politician doesnt impress me, he told the Washington Post...

1. This man, in response to tragedy is lashing out, understandably, and the media is exploiting his grief stricken anger to pursue their own agenda.
2. You already know, and it is abhorrent.
Yep, Politicians will solve the problem. . . . .
Man empowers son to be a jerk with Bmer murdering people, wants politicians to solve problem without involving his own accessorial guilt in this.
politician will indeed find another useful culprit and language: legal gun owners are the accessories, not the trayvon families.
Disagree completely on #1. The father is another useless liberal who’ll blame anyone and anything but his son and himself for what happened vice taking responsibility
The kid was a ticking time bomb and the parent’s did nothing. I blame them more than anything.
Mr Martinez is the father of a victim, not the perp.
This is is the father of one of the victims.
While this man grieves and lashes out against firearms, he discounts the murders of three men who were bludgeoned and stabbed to death by the perp.
Did you see the video of the stadium/memorial service? This father led the crowd in chants of “Not One More!”....it was pretty creepy. I had flashbacks to the Wellstone funeral.
Sir, you are a grieving father and possibly a liberal secularist, so it’s understandable you can’t see this truth: your son was infected by the Evil One, and no politician, or parent, can solve that or any other such infection thriving in the hearts of the mass murderers.
“you are a grieving father and possibly a liberal secularist”
Sorry, this was referring to the father of the perp.
I’m sorry for his loss. It could have been my son.
But, honestly! Pushing a political agenda over the body of your dead son just seems out of place here.
The making of another anti-gun activist and don’t think the liberals won’t exploit him this election season. I think we all know what side of the aisle Mr. Martinez sits. His original grief-filled tirade was aimed not at his son’s killer but at politicians and the NRA. My condolences for Mr. Martinez but dude looks and sounds like a hardened liberal.
Look for this guy on a stage at the White Hut soon...
Hate to say this but Martinez sounds as if he needs mental health treatment.Hope he gets help soon.
Ironically in my city one person was stabbed to death last week. I hear no calls from that victims family for knife control.
3. This guy is a criminal defense attorney, and he has to blame the guns because he's been helping keep hardened criminals out of prison -- and on the street where they commit more violent crimes -- for years.
I notice the story names and shows a picture of the shooter. The networks play his youtube rant and discuss it on the Sunday talk shows. All of which tells every screwed up, prescription gobbling misfit who hates society if he does this everyone will talk about him, listen to his grievances, and act like his thoughts are important. He will be somebody.
The media is helping to create these monsters.
Is he REALLY a criminal defense attorney?
From what I read yesterday, yes.
Unfortunate. Had one of the victims had a weapon it might have ended before it began. But thanks to politicians DOING SOMETHING, his son is dead.
Maybe he can hashtag something just like Michele and the Nigerian girls.
