Today as I returned from Detroit, I had a moment that I truly felt was God sent, as I don’t believe in coincidences. It happened on one of my flights, and it was two hours I will never forget.
I was seated beside someone who personally knew one of the men who was there on the roof in Benghazi. This person was excited to share with me the “ground truth” of what happened September 11, 2012.
My seat mate drew schematics to orient me to the “time and spacing” and the direction of the attack. I learned about the repeated orders to the men at the CIA annex to stand down and do nothing — thank God two of them, Glenn Doherty and Ty Woods, lived up to their code of honor and ran to the sound of the guns, resulting in their loss of life — but the preservation of life for others, their fellow Americans.
I learned about the proximity of the staging area of the attack to the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, and the attackers were indeed Ansar al-Sharia, a group affiliated with al-Qaida. I came to understand why Ambassador Chris Stevens was there in the first place and that he had in fact requested better security but was denied – the question is, by whom? And I learned that the Martyrs of 17 February Brigade were in charge of security and were the ones who opened the gates, then fled.
I learned there are those who are being threatened with their pensions being cut off if they come forth to speak.
And I learned, as I presumed, that there was a covert weapons scheme going on in Libya, Benghazi.

If this attack was by an "Ansar al-Sharia, a group affiliated with al-Qaida", and the "Martyrs of 17 February Brigade" allowed them into the consulate -- why would they do it?
Was it just an anti-US thing? Or were they opposed to the arms purchase and transfer to Syria? The rebels in Syria are Islamist, and at least some of them are al-Qaida. Or maybe the weapons were going to a rival faction?
And why is a US (and Turkish) ambassador directly involved in a CIA operation? I would expect him to be aware of it, but it seems to be really risky to be directly involved.

O.K., we’ve established the complete corruption of the parties at fault and with authority to right things, but they are corrupt. So then what is our recourse, friends?

I hope so. Because if the guy was really sitting next to him on a plane, West just painted a target on his back.
As someone else pointed out: it would be child's play for the federal government to find out who was sitting next to West on a plane, for at least the past year.
FR has been asking these and more, and speculating answers and plausible scenarios - with and without evidence. Gowdy must be ruthless, precise and thorough. I would like to see a full accounting of Stevens every meting, move and briefing from the time he was appointed.
A full accounting of the events of 9/11/12 is important. But, the back story is even more important.

I agree!!...even if the gun running scheme is outed in full it will be passed off as a minor “Iran-Contra” by our vigilant MSM....
However...if a staged kidnapping of a US Ambassador for political purposes were to come out.....Even the MSM would have to call it treason.....as i said earlier...I have no idea if it's true, but with the facts at hand it's a reasonable line of questioning that will NEVER be pursued...
Maybe it was a SouthWest Airlines flight and there was no assigned seating.

If he is smart, Gowdy should have Oliver North testify as to the Middle East weapons-trade situation from his previous service-perspective and going forward. I’d seriously consider Bush41 as an SME witness, provided his health is proper.
Yeah, it would alllow the Ameri-Commies a chance to open old wounds (which, they would love to do!) but, if done correctly, the current administration can be hoisted on a petard of their own making.
The absolute crazy cover up the White house launched makes me believe there is something much darker than Obama’s election fear. They did something very illegal before and during the Benghazi attack.

Your skepticism is all well and good but, realize that the inner-circle of the executive office is ^exclusively^ from Chicago.
“I know a guy who knows a guy that can get that done fer youse.” is Chicago talk for “don’t ask any questions and it will be taken care of.” I’ve tread that path so many times that I don’t consider the ramifications.
Really...I spoke to a fellow who knew a guy that could get a cash-only project done at my house that would be certified-to-code by the local IBEW.
Cost? Half-off compared to going through the local contractor and union-hall. Even the union-types know capitalism is good.

There were many eye witness reports to what really happened to Flight 800.
They were virtually all discredited, marginalized, or threatened so the “official” story could bury the truth.
Did you notice how quickly John Doe 2 disappeared from the news once the government got word out that they did not want any connection to Islam/muslims/Mideasterners at OKC back in the day?
Then bulldozed evidence like at Waco.
Yeah, interesting that CNN was there right away messing up the crime scene because—the official word anyway-—it was “too dangerous” for the FBI to go in for two weeks.
