In Need Of A Bailout: The ‘Che Cafe,’ A Co-Op Run By Commie-Loving Students

Proving that communism has worked no better for students at a University of California-San Diego cooperative living space than it did for the billions of citizens of the Soviet Union and the Peoples Republic of China, the aptly-named Che Cafe is quickly running out of cash.
In the cleverly titled article, In the Red, The UCSD Guardian noted that the Che Cafea student-run co-op named after mass-murdering dictator Che Guevara and governed by the communist philosophyhas become a money pit consistently plagued with safety issues.

Maybe this guy could be like their consultant or something. "Democratic Florida Rep. Joe Garcia fresh off being caught eating his own earwax on camera was caught red-handed (or is it yellow-fingered?) in another gaffe this week, claiming that low crime rates in border cities with lots of federal immigration workers is proof that Communism works." Maybe he has some sort of special recipe for some uh, (yuck) cookies to help them raise money. Wait. What do they need money for? I thought we would all just share everything with no need for money.

Che was a dictator?
Glad to see he was right about capitalism not working for coffee shops.

Sadly, the little socialists are most likely incapable of learning anything from their experience. As has been said so often, liberalism (and socialism/Marxism/communism) is a mental disease.

Maybe they should open a “Heinrich Himmler Deli” right next to it.

this is probably a construct of radical professors; most students probably don’t even know where it is.

I never understood how Che became some cultish figure among liberals and liberal students. Obviously they don’t know their history, and/or, choose to ignore that history, and/or, sympathize with communism and totalitarian systems.
To: Farmer Dean
Yes I know, but he was never a dictator. A thug, a scumbag, a hero to the left. My friends parents had to flee Cuba because of him. Great book called Hollywood’s favorite dictator. All about the wonderful castro and the way they treat blacks in Cuba and how they cured AIDS too.

A lot of this Che worship with thr shirts is passive-agressive behavior. They aren’t tough enough to confront decent people directly,so they try to annoy us while having deniability if confronted.Bunch of pussies really.

Judging by the students I run into at school, they don’t even know of an alternative. Capitalism is only presented as the system of evil Christian, Homophobes, climate change deniers, Koch Brothers. They’ve been denied a framework of reason that could help them critique what’s they’ve been spoon fed. Their parents abdicated their authority to the public school, so now have no credibility to sway them.
So, no, they won’t learn from this experience because you need reason to learn.

Because they have no humility, they possess no ability to correct themselves, and, therefore, have no mechanism for learning.
This is how they are unable to acknowledge what is right in front of their own eyes.
