That’s OK by me; but that’s 80 more than were sent to Benghazi...
So now our troops are being used for this; this should be something left for the Nigerian government to deal with. How many more ‘missions’ are our troops going to be subjected to?
I am shocked that he is only now telling us of this. It is true that they woke up after the hash tag and decided they better do something because people were paying attention. Only 80 though. Seems a bit anemic for the job that is going to be done. Fighting terrorists with 80 of our folks? We need much more. #Needmoretroopsnow
We have always done these kinds of missions since Iranian Crisis at least. I am just thankful that they are FINALLY waking up to the seriousness of this. Sad that it took a hash tag to get things moving.
Indeed, send more. Put it on our tab.
You’re right; I shouldn’t be so hardened.
So are they actually going to allow these troops to shoot back?
Oh, Good Lord. 80 troops (only) is a recipe for MORE disaster for liberating a couple of hundred girls who will never be liberated. Once they were taken, they will forever be ‘shunned’ and targeted by the communities they came from.
I don’t have an issue with sending them in. Just don’t announce it. Idiots.

I’d be willing to bet Obama received NO intel on this. The girls could be in Libya for all he knows.
I hope these 80 aren’t ambushed. God help them if they are overwhelmed by the Moose Limbs and need reinforcements.
You can tell when he’s lying when his lips are moving.
Take NOTHING this guy says on faith.
80 troops? How many did he send to Mexico to get one of our Marines out of prison?
I guess they can consider themselves warned.
Yes my question as well.
We are dealing with rabid animals; do we have call the attorneys in charge of the military before doing something?
This is a vicious; soulless group of people who took these girls.
He heard about it on the news.
Like Somalia when CNN crews were waiting on the beach for the US troops to land.
