Because so many Christians are murdered by Hindus when Hinduism teaches them to murder Christians.
Uh -- yeah.

Well, there have been several cases where Christians have been murdered or had their churches burned down by Hindu radicals in India. In fact, most crimes against them will be committed by Hindus, since Muslims live in regions with low Christian populations anyway.
This being said, the Congress Party was doing little to protect them either. And they were horrendously corrupt, dragging the country into a ditch.
It’s a cause for concern, but I think we should perhaps retain a focus on the ME, where the highest levels of Christian persecution outside of North Korea exist. Syria in particular. It seems Egypt is calming down now.
Persecution against Christians in India pales in comparison to what goes on in neighboring Pakistan.
There actually have been Christians murdered by Hindus, but generally there were other causes (land disputes, political affairs, etc.). Generally, Christians are okay, and there are some Christian areas, such as Goa, where there is no problem at all.
A scholar once told me that Hinduism was like the Roman religion before Christianity...lots of gods, but basically everybody had a dim concept of one God, and they were used to the idea of God visiting the world (not necessarily the way that was appropriate, LOL, but they did think in terms of creation and the Creator). The reason the Romans adapted so readily to Christianity was because they could understand it even based on their paganism, and I think this will eventually be the same with Hinduism.
I don’t think this new president is interested in imposing Hinduism. Obviously, neither he nor anybody else in the Hindu majority want Muslims to destroy their world, but I think he wants a society where people just live and do what they’re supposed to do, make India prosperous, and the Muslims can’t ruin it for everybody else.
“hinduism teaches them to murder Christians”? You forgot the sarcasm tag...
