Marking the 60th anniversary of the historic Brown vs. Board of Education ruling, First Lady Michelle Obama said on Friday that racial and other prejudices still plague the nation and she called on young people to lead the way forward.
“This issue is so sensitive, it’s so complicated, so bound up with a painful history,” Obama told soon-to-be graduating high school seniors in Topeka, Kansas—the city that was at the center of the Supreme Court’s decision. “No matter what you do, the point is to never be afraid to talk about these issues, particularly the issue of race, because even today, we still struggle to do that.”

Don’t know,met alot of people in my life,some are nice,some ae A**holes,the color of their skin was never an issue with me.

Not interested in talking about race. It’s so last century and not productive. Might be interested in talking about ideas though.
I’ll talk about race. Stop blaming whitey for all your problems, Michelle. Some white ethnic groups throughout history had it worse than your ancestors. The difference is that we don’t bitch about the past and work our way out of it while you’re stuck in Sh-tcago’s west or south side. Get the hell over it and grow up.
That said, I respect the 20% of blacks or so who aren’t like Michelle Obama and that culture of entitlement.

Race doesn't matter, but she is unwilling to admit the truth.
It is about performance...and she knows that without the issue of race, she would never have risen above lower management at Walmart.
