Report: Almost All SD Fires Have 'Suspicious Ignition Point'
by Michelle Moons 3 hours ago
On Thursday, Governor Jerry Brown asserted that it is settled that climate change is a factor in the wildfires now devastating parts of San Diego County. Browns comments come at the same time that the Escondido Fire Department reported that two suspects, an adult and a juvenile, have been arrested in connection with intentionally starting the fire.
According to a story in the U-T San Diego, the governor opined, Despite what you may hear in Washington, climate change is a factor This is not about theory. Its not about politics. This is about fires on the ground, peoples homes.
When Governor Brown was asked about the suspects, he responded by saying, I do know that people do stupid things. They throw a cigarette butt out of a car... Moreover, Brown admitted, If someone really wants to intentionally create fires its unfortunately, tragically, a very easy task.
Brown, a staunch advocate of climate change theory, recently confirmed that Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is in danger of being overwhelmed by floods due to global warming.

If the freaking liberals and environmentalists would allow the US Forest Service to do control burns frequently and plow fire breaks, they wouldn’t have all these out of control wild fires. Idiots. They won’t even let homeowners clear the brush around their homes. Just how stupid do you have to be to not see that if you do nothing, mother nature will do it for you. Idiots.
Global Warming causes matches? I thought it was responsible for snow falling in Chicago on the 16th of May.
“Dunce....”
I can’t tell if the left knowingly lies to push an agenda or they really believe the nonsense they spout. I suppose some do and some don’t. If Governor Jerry Brown seriously thinks global warming is going to put LAX under water soon, he’s a nut.
Even if the Antarctic and Greenland ice melts and causes the oceans to rise, it’s not going to happen overnight. The EPA’s absolute worst case scenario is for 72” inches (6 feet) of rise by 2100.
http://www.epa.gov/climatechange/science/future.html
That’s 86 years from now, and the rise would be very gradual over most of that time per the EPA projection—only about 2’ of rise by 2060 for example.
Now consider how much the world has changed technology-wise since 1928. That’s 86 years ago, and mankind (I’m sexist!) isn’t likely to stand still over the next 86 years. Who knows what kind of technology improvements are going to happen in that time? Even if the warming occurs and the seas rise, man adapts. That’s actually what makes us such a dominant species...we adapt where others perish.
So maybe people will have to move inland or the farming areas will move further north over time. We have plenty of our own problems in the here and now. Can we really afford to trash the US economy to fix a problem that may or may not exist 86 years from now, especially when we’re pretty much alone in the battle (about 700 million Europeans and Americans versus over 6 billion who couldn’t care less)?
It is...Global Warming is his internet moniker, silly.
***Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is in danger of being overwhelmed by floods due to global warming.***
The ocean will have to get through the dykes in Cali first.
...co-cai-ain,
Runnin’ all around his brain...
They did use to handle things a lot better in CA. And not just green, but brown as well.
“Insane in the membrane....Insane in the brain...”

Brush Regulations
California is well known for brush and wildfires, which affect the safety of homeowners. Public Resources Code 4291 requires property owners to keep 100 feet of space clear around any building or structure on their property. If your home or any outdoor structures are less than 100 feet from your property line, then you must clear the area up to the property line. Brush and other types of vegetation serve as fuel for a brush fire. According to the State Board of Forestry and Fire Protection, removing the brush increases the building’s chances of surviving a fire.
Right! Because Global Warming took HUMAN FORM and disguised themselves as JIHADISTS and set ALL BUT ONE OF THE FIRES.
*DAMN* that GLOBAL WARMING!!!!!!!!111111!!!!!!!11!!!!!11
Explain to me how the sun started the fires.
It's worse than that. They require brush clearing, but won't allow it!
Are you starting to see why no one, no one at all from caliphony has been invited to move to Maine? We have so real liberal flakes here in Maine, but nothing compared to caliphony.
You know what’s so funny, the people working Yellowstone figured that out in ‘89. They spent year after year suppressing a fire shortly after it started, until the fateful year where all the dry, dead wood simply burned up. The inferno was so bad, the flame retardants simply did close to nothing, in fact, sometimes it made zones of the Park desolate so that plants wouldn’t grow.
tell the truth, Moonbeam. The fires are due to mismanagement of public lands. Plain and simple.
And we are hitting record lows yesterday and today. What do we attribute those to?
those were the days of reasonableness
I hope someone tells Moonbeam that LA is 290 feet ABOVE sea level
Another Democrat idiot.
Try terrorism in the form of arson, jerry brown acid.
