EW didnt receive a review copy of this book, so we have not actually read it (consider this top of my weekend to-do list), but here are some reactions from other critics:
(Excerpt) Read more at shelf-life.ew.com ...
Right on, Maha Rushi!
EW (whoever, whatever that is) is pissed because they didn’t “receive” a copy of the book. Limbaugh’s publisher was supposed to recognize that EW (again whoever or whatever that is) is a luminary among book reviewers or entertainment, or history, or whatever self-imagined status EW (whoever or whatever that is, again) has.
It has been insulted and thus feels justified in over-the-fence gossip.
“Hell hat no fury like a Liberal scorned.”
EW is Entertainment Weekly part of Time, Inc
“The poor people at the council have been receiving hate mail for supporting Rush Limbaugh when they were just trying to do a good thing and encourage kids to read. Alas, you know what they say about good intentions ”
So writer, the Childrens Book Council deserves hate mail?
What a double dose of snarky!
“Journalism”...bring a bias into the story and be an echo chamber for those who share your prejudice.
“Hell hat no fury like a Liberal scorned.”

Rush is to the Marxist/Dimocrap as wolfs-bane is to a vampire.
Actually guessed that, but I didn’t want to give them the satisfaction of my actually knowing what EW stands for....:o)
“Why not read it first?”
Are you kidding. It’s like the light of day,
to a vampire or cockroaches.
Actually, I draw it out more, like “EEEWW!”
Really, why read an entertainment magazine, and why take anything in its pages seriously?
I actually looked at the article and saw that it was written by dumb leftist writer, picking only negative reviews (written by other dumb leftists), creating his own echo chamber. And then the bulk of comments on the first page were from what is probably a paid leftist activist spreading misinformation.
“hath?”
The comments on the article (especially from knee-jerk liberals) are entertaining. Of course none of them read the book. Not that it would change their opinions if they had...
Of course not! It was only sent to those capable of reading and understanding it. It takes the reading level of children to be understood.
Gee, Entertainment Weekly reports that others did not like it and takes their opinion. Gee talking points even in the Entertainment World who ever would thunk it.
So now children are being bashed because they voted for the book. Next children will have to crusade to Washingto DC to save the country.
By the way Rush revere books are great. I have read them both. Thanks Rush for having the tenacity to write something about values and principles. This is what is lacking in America a moral compass. Rush must being doing something right because the liberals have their undies and panties in a bunch and they are mad. The old saying is watch it when the wasps are circling the nest, you stirred up some kind of trouble and the wasps are mad. (hey I am allergic to wasps, hornets and bees)
I find it entertaining daily when Lefties lose their marbles over the success a Conservative enjoys.
There. Fixed it.
