A group of self-described revolutionary-style patriots with a million mobilized militia members are heading to downtown Washington, D.C., this week to bring a simple message to political leadership, from President Obama to House Speaker John Boehner: Get out.
They’re called the Operation American Spring — and they’re vowing to oust the likes of Mr. Obama, Mr. Boehner, Attorney General Eric Holder, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Sen. Mitch McConnell, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Vice President Joseph R. Biden, Raw Story reported.

O has not been waiting for anything. He has been ‘Pulling Hitlers’ or orchestrating acts of betrayal on this country long before he was even inaugerated. One day, we may have Eric Snowden’s Son inform the world that the United States was under an atmospheric experiment by the CIA starting in 2007. about 60% of the population were affected, some permanently disabled in their thinking skills. I am only half joking.

As far as I'm concerned, that's what the tea Party is: a permanent Operation American Spring. But we need to do more than just try to elect "good" politicians (some would say that is an oxymoron).
We need to do as Milton Friedman suggested:
Do what you can to elect the right people, but focus the major attention to make it politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing.
You do that by cutting government until it's back to 3-5% of our GDP, KEEPING it small, and throwing the bums out who don't keep it small.
The spirit of resistance to government is so valuable on certain occasions that I wish it to be always kept alive.

I may be out of touch but they haven’t seemed to reach out to many TEA Party types or interested parties. It may have been a semi-secret militia event following up on the Bundy Ranch protest. If that is the case, there is little hope for something similar to what I’ve suggested on this forum. In fact, it could set us back a long ways. It takes publicity, organization and nonviolence on the part of the protestors. At this point let the oppressors shoot first.

I don’t see this event picking up any steam. America is simply too apathetic, ignorant and distracted to focus on its own decline.
