Except for tube-fed .22 rimfires, which are not banned and have no capacity restrictions.

The rimfire exemption was added to get Christie to sign the bill.

I wonder if Chris Crisco has a special sympathy for tube-feeding?

“A bill to further restrict the allowed size of ammunition magazines in New Jersey is now just one step from reaching Gov. Chris Christie?s desk.”

Put up or shut up time for Christie. Veto the bill, get some more moderates to vote for you. Sign the bill and you lost every NRA member.

Decisions decisions.

they don’t mind if the drug cartels and crazy gunmen have them. They just do not want their slaves, the normal, working, tax paying citizens to have them. If the passage of all these anti gun laws don’t tell you that those in power are up no good, nothing will.

Isn’t the Timid Party planning to run the NJ governor as a POTUS candidate?

Anybody guess what his opinion is of the 2nd Amendment?

If Christie vetoes this bill, he will have demonstrated he has more in common with Conservatives than with the other side of the political isle. He might indeed be the medicine America needs in Washington.?

I've attended a few of his townhalls, prepared to ask a solid second amendment question. I have not yet been called upon. But he has not (to my knowledge) shown any inclination to oppose the unconstitutionally restrictive NJ laws regarding the right to bear arms.

Anyone who voluntarily lives in New Jersey gets what they deserve. I refuse to set foot in the Northeast (or California) .... EVER... for ANY REASON.

I say "amen" to that. I have written off the Northeast, too. I own a second home in Pennsylvania but it is in the very southern part, and that's as far north as I ever plan to ever go.

The people who can but don't leave hellholes such as New Jersey do get what they've got coming to them.
