A Mother’s Day Prayer for America

Almighty God, we thank You for the love of those mothers whose patience, love, and patriotism has guided generations of Americans to believe in You, to provide for their own families through hard work, and to strive for a nation whose God is the Lord. May their loving and guiding words we heeded. May their examples be followed. We also pray, Lord God, that their daughters would also steadfastly believe in You and raise new generations to know that faith in You is the key to eternity and to a safe and wholesome homeland. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen
