WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Baseball Hall of Famer Tommy Lasorda says he's not surprised by his friend Donald Sterling's racist remarks. The former Dodgers manager tells West Palm Beach station WPBF after 30 years of friendship with Sterling, "It doesn't surprise me that he said those things. And he shouldn't have said it."
Lasorda also offered his thoughts on the woman Sterling was talking to on the tape, V. Stiviano, saying: "I don't wish that girl any bad luck, but I hope she gets hit with a car."(continued)

Because she claims someone else taped and released the recording.
Well then, that individual should be charged.
Of course, but the lady will claim she doesn’t know who it was because she didn’t see anyone and of course all her leading questions were by coincidence.
Totally illegal in CA to record conversations.
She claims the recording was at his direction, that she was his archivist (among other -ists available to a billionaire, depending of course on his, er, capacity to consume same).
If that's true, then the recording was no crime (ask Al Butterfield).
Of course, there remains the question of how TMZ got access. Was it V-Dot? Or one of her "friends"?
She is just as much a part of what’s wrong with America as any racist. And besides, there are many worse things in the world than racism. She took the path of least resistance.
Tommy, the NBA won’t let you own a team. :-)
I think she got hit by Magic, so she’ll die a slow death.
Very nice gums.
Yep. I really like guys like that. Baseball is a sport where its really hard to be a real racist because its the single most diverse sport there is. Huge teams of guys that drift in and out of the major league so there are naturally people who don’t like each other but its personal.
Tommy is the godfather of Detroit Tigers catcher Alex Avila.
Heh heh... thanks 2ndDivisionVet.
Drive: Thump...thump.thump. Reverse: thump.thump. Drive: thump.thump. Reverse: thump.thump. Drive: thump.thump........
A car is probably about the only thing she hasn’t hit.
Aww, c’mon, Tommy- tell us how you REALLY feel!
Lasorda, Sterling, Cliven Bundy.
All examples of the same phenomenon.
All over 80.
Something happens to the male brain when we reach a certain age.
It’s called “I have a right to say whatever the hell I want, I’m gonna die soon!”
Last time I heard about Lasorda was a letter from my aunt in Baltimore telling me what a great talk he gave at a Communion breakfast.
Lol
“She’s a MAN baby!!”
