Basketball legend Michael Jordan says that he considered himself a racist when he was a teenager and was against all white people.
The confession comes from a new book, Michael Jordan: The Life, by Ronald Lazenby.
Jordan said the Ku Klux Klan was dominant in North Carolina where he grew up in the mid-1970s, buying uniforms for sports teams and bibles for schools.

Jordans teen age race hatred of whites is still common today as manifested in the many unprovoked knock out and mob attacks on whites by black teens. Not to mention, murders, hate rapes, and mome invasions.
The famous black writer, James Baldwin, put it this way in 1955:
“”There is, I should think, no Negro living in America who has not felt, briefly or for long periods, with anguish sharp or dull, in varying degrees and to varying effect, simple, naked and unanswerable hatred;
who has not wanted to smash any white face he may encounter in a day, to violate, out of motives of the cruelest vengeance, their women, to break the bodies of all white people and bring them low, as low as the dust to which he himself has been and is being trampled”
Baldwin wrote this when the brutal oppressive Jim Crow Laws were going strong.
“simple, naked and unanswerable hatred”
Unanswerable back in 1955 maybe.
But it has been answered many thousands of times since the mid 1960s by black on white violent crime that exploded ten fold or more since then.
Now that he’s admitted it decades later, it will be interesting to see if Jordan gets the same treatment as Paula Deen.
lol
A few days ago, I caught a snippet of Dan Patrick’s radio show. One of the “Danettes” asked if JayZ’s racism should be punished.
DP, like a good leftist, stated since JayZ was an entertainer, he gets a pass on racist comments.
The utter stupidity and hypocrisy of leftists never cease to amaze me. They truly have a mental disorder.
Black on white crime actually started exploding when millions of blacks migrated to the big northern cities after WWII. Violent crime rates shot up appreciably most of it black on white crime. I remember seeing a big city crime chart from 1950 not too different from today’s crime statistics.
“Jordan said the Ku Klux Klan was dominant in North Carolina where he grew up in the mid-1970s, buying uniforms for sports teams and bibles for schools.”
This statement is untruthful. I grew up in the same part of NC as Jordan in the 1960’s and 1970’s. I never saw any evidence of Klan activity in the area and I certainly never saw a Klan purchased sports uniform or Bible. Jordan’s statement is like Bill Clinton claiming to have seen black churches burning in Arkansas when he was growing up. It makes for good newspaper copy but has no basis in fact.
The legacy of slavery and Jim Crow in the South is abominable. Equally abhorrent is the continuing portrayal of southern whites today, and in the recent past, as being nothing but racist suppressors of minorities. There were a few bad incidents during the era of desegregation (1950’s and 1960’s) but the vast majority of southern whites supported integration and worked hard to build a society of racial harmony. Today in the south, white on black violence is extremely rare. Black on white violence much more common.
Why is it worse to be dunked on by a white guy than a black guy? It is sports, shouldn't those feelings be left at the entry door of the arena? Is it worse to give up a home run to a Latino or black player for a white pitcher and how would that be viewed if mentioned on a national radio show?
America has serious issues and we are falling prey to liberal ideology. People need to wake up.
But don’t those racists love white women....
Thank you. I saw Jordan’s KKK statement and I didn’t believe him for a second.
I’m glad to see your experiences refute Michael Jordans’.
White men can’t jump!
Hint: Michael Jordan still IS a racist.
What do you base that on?
They believe the Democrats are their friends of blacks who will exact revenge on the evil whites that practice a modern version of slavery in 2014. That's what MJ believes and why he champions POTUS Barry Soetoro Obama.
Jordan has traditionally refused to make any political endorsements because it would offend half of his fans.
That’s a flimsy thread on which to hang that sort of accusation. There are plenty of real racists out there. Jackson, Sharpton etc...
What racism? He had a bracelet. Sounds like leftist thinking to me.
Jay-Z has been raising a lot of eyebrows with the medallion, or the bling, hes been sporting lately. According to the report, this bling belongs to the radical Five Percent National group, a group that believes white men are the devil, the Christian god is a ghost, black people are the mothers and fathers of civilization, and only a small percentage of people understand the world.
Jay-Z was sporting some Five Percent jewelry at last weeks Barclays Center NBA game, as he sat courtside along with his wife, Beyonce. When asked about the symbolic nature of his bling and whether it had any meaning for him, Jay-Z replied, A little bit.
An author of two books on the group, Michael Muhammad Knight, explained the groups beliefs in detail, saying, The rationale is that the black man is God and created the universe, and is physically stronger and intellectually stronger and more righteous naturally. Whiteness is weak and wicked and inferior basically just an errant child who needs to be corrected. The first lesson I learned from the Five Percent was simple: Fk white people. Seriously. White people are devils.
Ask MJ to treat you to a “beer summit” on his personal money. If he buys, you’re vindicated. If not, I win.
Well, alrighty then Mr. Jordan. Your team is discriminating and the league is discriminating. It's not at all representative of America.
Unwrap this, please. How does the fact that most of the players in the NBA make the league or team discriminatory? Couldn't the players have made it on ability alone? Or are you in the "just say Black people are racist all the time as a response to everything" club?
