House Republicans plan to vote next week on a resolution that would urge Attorney General Eric Holder to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the IRSs improper scrutiny of Tea Party groups. In a statement announcing the vote, House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) said Republicans have no faith in the investigation that is already being carried out at the Justice Department. It is time for Attorney General Holder to appoint a special counsel to investigate the IRS targeting scandal and bring the appropriate charges against those responsible, Cantor said in a statement. I called for this to be done a long time ago.
“urge Attorney General Eric Holder to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the IRSs improper scrutiny of Tea Party groups”
Might as well “urge” Obama, Pelosi, and Reid to resign.
The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
What kind of Special Prosecutor do they think Eric Holder will appoint?
Fox...chicken...hen house...
Get Whitey Holder will do nothing.
Unfortunately a special prosecutor needs Eric Holder to do it.
ANOTHER SELECT COMMITTEE! If these geeks think that Holder would appoint anyone that would implicate him, they are kidding themselves.
What a bunch of dumb assholes.
Holder will tell them to get f’ed.
During Bush v Gore I stood in front of LA’s Federal Building with a sign to traffic which said, “DUTY HONOR COUNTRY”.
Some woman drove by and hollered, “Who’s paying you!”
Paying me? I wondered. The sign speaks for itself.
Mitch McConnell will likely be implicated in this. lol.
The GOPe doesn’t really mean it, they go through the motions, many months late and that’s it - a one day story in the conservative blogosphere and then its gone.
The charges in the impeachment vote in the house should include using the irs and other agents to stifle political opponents and brnghazi
Holder will get right on it.
He’ll get right on building his next stone wall.
Every one of these ‘phony’ scandals needs a whistleblower. A John Dean if you will. Is there anyone in this Admin that has any conscience left? Leon Panetta, would you like to clear your conscience and sleep better at night? That would blow open the Benghazi investigation, at least.
Might as well urge the sun to become the moon.
