At least 38 people have been killed in a fire in an official building amid clashes in Odessa, in south west Ukraine, local police say.

It is reported that there are videos circulating (real time videos) taken at the time by those who were inside the building as the building was burning and people were suffocating...
It was the Trade Union House, and now the tally is 31. BBC says that Ukraine's interior ministry has not said who started the fire.

It was torched in a storming attempt after some of the anti-Maidan activists rallying in the square barricaded themselves inside the building.”
The article notes that Molotovs were being used by both sides.

The pro-Putin hooligans were shooting from the building and throwing Molotov cocktails. Kind of hard to help people like that. Not clear if the hooligans set fire to the building themselves. Reports are that the hooligans received weapons early this morning at a Russian Orthodox church in preparation for violently disrupting the pro-Ukrainian march. Apparently, Putin’s terrorists were expecting the pro-Ukrainian crowd not to resist as happened last Sunday when so may were viciously beaten in Donetsk.

What I have seen is that the BBC (And other news sites in the UK) are reporting on this - possibly the Guardian, too. I will check.....
