House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) blasted the Obama administration Thursday on Benghazi. The Obama administration misled the American people on Benghazi massacre blaming the attack on a YouTube video rather than terrorism. The White House crafted talking points blaming the video despite having knowledge that this was a planned terrorist attack on the US consulate. Chairman Darrell Issa:
It is disturbing and perhaps criminal that documents like these were hidden by the Obama administration from Congress and the public alike
The Americans who lost their lives in Benghazi, those who were wounded, and the American people deserve nothing less. So todays hearing is critical for what our witnesses will give us. And, I welcome you and I thank you for being here. But it comes in a week in which the American people have learned that you cannot believe what the White House says. You cannot believe what the spokespeople say. You cannot believe what the president says. And the facts are coming out that in fact that this administration has knowingly withheld documents pursuant to Congressional subpoenas in violation of any reasonable transparency or historic precedent at least since Richard Millhouse Nixon.

RACIST!
“You Cannot Believe This White House”?
I don’t believe anything that comes out of this entire worthless federal gub mint.
Unemployment numbers are horse crap.
Obammy care sign up numbers are horse crap.
Obammy and company are little more than LIARS to push their f-ing agenda.
Carney is a worthless hack and a really bad joke.
And Americans cannot believe there will be any legal consequences for this White House criminal activity.
We have learned this long ago, buy your tedious drawn out committee hearings, it appears that you Issa, are just learning this now, and I suspect you will continue to do nothing about it...please prove me wrong.
At this point, congress is useless. The “won” and his executive branch ilk have run roughshod over any and all opposition who get in their way of their “fundamental transformation” and now have a “domestic force just as powerful as the military”. Obama neutered the military, stocked the courts with radical crazies, pissed off virtually all of our foreign allies, has erased our border with socialist mexico, sided with every radical muslim regime on the planet, and ran our economy straight into the ground. At this point, the US has less credibility than some third world african warlord ran dictatorship.
This American has learned that Darrell Issa has never met a camera he didn’t love, and is unable, or unwilling to do anything of substance. For that, Darrell Issa has his share of culpability in the decline of America.
Nor you Mr Issa.
Was Captain Obvious testifying at the hearing today?
You cannot believe the media!
in violation of any reasonable transparency or historic precedent at least since Richard Millhouse Nixon.....Oh for all that’s holy. Nixon THOUGHT about doing illegal Presidential acts. He NEVER carried them out. They forced him out. The pubs are too scared to do it.
Okay so Issa is a Camera hog...
All I see on these threads is bashing of Issa. So someone tell us specificly what he should be doing differently?
He supenaed documents from the AG and the Whitehouse in both the Benghazi and Fast and Furious cases. He brought the AG up on Contempt Charge, which were approved. They have now proceded to a Federal Judge to force the AG to hand over documents. The other members of the Committee have said they are going to vote Lerner in Contempt.
Cummings the Minority leader on the committee is feeding info back and forth from and to his demorat committee members and the White House to run interference.
It isn’t within his authority to appoint a Special Prosecutor-that is Cry Baby Boehner. I personally think he is stonewalling because as Speaker he was informed of the Gun Running operation thru Lybia to Egypt.
So other than calling in witnesses that can’t testify in open because the white house has classified most of the information what should he be doing?
The Problem is that no matter what comes out the Press is not going to report it. If this were a REpublican Admin. you’ld see every hearing on the MSM all the time. The Press Conferences would be a feeding frenzy. That would change to public perception and pressure on the Administration and Democrat Congresscritters which is what is NOT happening now.
Now you're talking "uppercase-R" Respect! :O Ain't seen that in a long, long time!

Testifying in front of a House Oversight Committee hearing Thursday on Capitol Hill, retired Air Force Brigadier General Robert Lovell said the military should have and could have done more to help Americans who were killed in Benghazi on September 11, 2012. Lovell is the former deputy director for intelligence at Africa Command. His testimony today is the first testimony from a member of the military who was at Africa Command during the time of the Benghazi attack on the U.S consulate. [Bolding is mine]
Many with firsthand knowledge have recounted the heroism displayed by the brave Americans in Benghazi that night. They fought the way they trained. That is in the record. Outside of Libya there were discussions that churned on about what we should do. These elements also fought the way they were trained. Specifically, the predisposition to interagency influence had the military structurein the spirit of expeditionary government supportwaiting for a request for assistance from the State Department. There are accounts of time, space and capability discussions of the question, could we have gotten there in time to make a difference. Well, the discussion is not in the could or could not in relation to time, space and capabilitythe point is we should have tried. As another saying goes: Always move to the sound of the guns, Lovell said. It is with a sense of duty as a retired General officer that I respectfully submit these thoughts and perspectives.
Comedy of errors.

For Soros to have Issa criticize the White House, you knowww whatever they’re trying to distract us from is huge.
