NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) Larry Johnson has never been one to hold back when he has something on his mind.
He definitely had something on his mind Saturday in the wake of the accusations of racism against Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling. Johnson took to Twitter and fired off a cryptic tweet that seems to suggest an all-black basketball league with all-black ownership should be formed.

"There are still generations of older people who were born and breed and marinated in that prejudice and racism and they just have to die."
No objections from employees of the MSM, et al.
Which means there's good racism (Black power! All-Black League! La Raza!) and there's bad racism (live white people).
"We agree!" applauded the members of the nation's Knockout Game Teams, MSM employees, et al.
Which raises a question about suing Winfrey, et al using the doctrine of vicarious liability. It's been used to blame at least one white supremacist group for actions of people who had only heard the group's hate speech.
But... But... He went to UNLV for 2 years...
Funny you should mention the stadiums. I’ve felt for years that no public money should EVER be put into those things. If a team wants a stadium to play in, no problem from me as long as they pay to build it and play by the same rules as the rest of us, Property taxes, Building permits and so on. Maybe then they would put some bucks into maintaining and improving those monuments to the ‘egos’ of their particular game.
As soon as taxpayer money is allocated then they become just like the rest of the ‘Takers’, Gimme, gimme or I’ll do.. (Whatever).
None of them bothered to answer questions as to why racists like Spike Lee and Jay-Z (the latter used to be part owner of the Nets) were allowed to make racist statements (Lee) or wear racist materials (Jay-Z) while Sterling was stripped of his club for making less nasty statements in his probably illegally recorded conversation. Apparently, libs do not know the meaning of the word hypocrisy.
You're correct, but if you get on some sports forums, certain people will argue that the players made the league and not the owners. If you tell them that virtually all the owners could live mighty easy without their toys (sports teams) while the athletes would be on welfare or working minimum wage jobs for a living without sports, they won't believe you. They really think professional athletes are the backbone of the country, and we just can't do without them.
That's why you have idiots like Johnson who think you can magically create an infrastructure for black athletes, and people will watch. In a way, I'd like to see it happen just to show them for the utter fools they are when their stupid venture collapses in quick time.
Kevin Love says hi.
Apparently a practically black league isn’t adequate. There is always the taint of a white player from Duke to smell it up.
I agree with this part “I was going to ask when Johnson would be fined 2.5 million dollars and be banned for life from the NBA.”
The Knicks need to fire Johnson or the NBA needs to get Johnson banned.
I’ve just become the biggest hockey fan. I’ve not set foot in an NBA arena for many many years. I will not ever pay for an NBA product either. Same with the NFL ....
Question: If Larry Bird came out and agreed with LJ, (”Yes, LJ! A separate and equal black league”) would Larry Bird be accused of racism?
Yeah, there are black magazines, colleges, caucuses in the house and senate, student unions, black local, state and federal unions, church “guilds” (sorry don’t know a better name for them).
Why not have a black sports league?
Well, I suppose that will ensure the end of the NBA unless Obama gives them money to stay afloat.
Another win for racism.

An alternate view is high water mark
Sterling's lawyers will be able to find all sorts of statements from NBA team owners and executives that can be perceived to be racist, and if starting an all Black league is not racist, then no statement is.
Why do some racist comments go unpunished by the NBA?
To me, that's the basis of the Sterling lawsuit.
Sounds like LJ is calling for segregation in sports. I am sure Jackie Robinson would be proud to see how things have come full circle.
Kevin Love is black?
Excellent plan, Mr. Johnson. Go for it.
An all black league would yield an all black audience. Whites, naturally, would not be welcome at an all black game.
Can you imagine a respectful, peaceful crowd at such a game? Can you imagine the crowd restraining themselves after an upsetting game? I can’t.
Can you imagine gun fire & unrestrained violence at such a game? Can you imagine the game itself becoming ever more violent? I can. Call it “knockout” basketball.
Raise you hand if you would like to work security at such an event.
Some may say these statements are racist, but I say they are born out of the recent history of American black culture & the violent, segregationist direction it is headed.
This is YOUR guy, NBA...don’t look ridiculous with a double standard now...
As far as I’m concerned, the NBA HAS BEEN “an all black organization” for ‘a few years’, now.
I don't, because it never happened. MLB has never lost an entire season due to a stoppage, but the NHL has.
According to the research site ballparksofbaseball.con, during the 1990s, which encompassed the 1994 stoppage that cancelled the World Series, 601 million people attended major league games. From 2010-13, just under 295 million people have attended games -- on pace to exceed the 1990s.
