Rand Paul and Sean Hannity had no business apologizing for their support of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy after he made racist remarks, C. Edmund Wright, a communications director with the 1992 Bush-Quayle campaign, says.

Wright told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV Friday that Bundy's controversial remarks about African-Americans should not cloud the real issue at hand: his battle against the federal government over land rights.

He is disappointed the Kentucky senator and the conservative talk-show host apologized, after initially supporting Bundy's cause.

They are deathly afraid of the racism tag. They give the dems more power through their fear.

Moreover, Hannity refused to back down once the full context and manipulation by the NYT was apparent.

If they had just talked about his beef with the BLM and not made him a hero....we should follow ideas, not people. People are flawed...

This is not the only issue that Rand Paul has spoken out on lately that causes me grief. In many respects it’s a long time until 2016 but Paul’s stance on social issues that are destroying the moral fiber of our country, amnesty for illegals, support for McConnell and the growth of government and Obamacare cause our family to conclude that there remains little difference between him and Democrats.

Their constant apologies just play right into the Democrats agenda.

Hannity’s sloppy butt-kissing of libtard media was revolting...

how many times did he have to repeat how he thought Bundy was revolting and sickening?

I didn’t think Hannit had that kind of fear in him.

The correct response was - You may disagree with what he said but that does not make it right what the government did to his cattle. If he was a liberal democrat I would disagree with hom 100% but still defend him from the government.

And Bundy did not say it out of hate- but a deep rooted belief that blacks have been harmed and enslaved by the government

Haven’t Ted Baxter and Hannity been saying the same thing as Bundy for months on end but being ever so PC by not using the words slavery or Negro ?

The Factor has been on a crusade over the entitlement society, and that it will lead to the downfall of America.
He’s been on a rant against the evils of drugs, abortion, street gangs, low expectations, and on and on.

What I notice O’Reilly doing a lot is always finding some scapegoat on the Right that he can tear into so that he can appear fair, honest and even handed. Sickeningly, they all do it. It is like a ritual PC cleansing for the sake of their careers.

And politicians like Rand aren’t any better, as they see it as a way to weasel votes from the PC pure.

I really have a hard time listening to Hannity on the radio anymore. It just seems like its one long commercial, either for himself, his show or for his sponsors.

Between the time he spends just talking to his staff or talking about himself, he doesn’t devote much airtime at all to the “issue” anymore.

And when he does talk about “issues” he usually seems pretty trite and reactionary.

isn’t it obvious what’s going on with all the “racist” charges in the media with many more to come ? bundy, sterling, etc.

the RATS are concerned that blacks won’t be showing up in November so they roll out the ‘race card’ to gin up the turnout.

If someone had to lead the charge into Hell, I don’t Hannity would be that leader. He would worry about being charged with trespassing.

instead of wasting so much time listening to hannity, real Americans need to be using that time and our most potent political weapon, our mouth, to try and reach as many people as we can with the truth and hopefully recruit them to join in the war to save America.

Bunkerville is also being viewed by both sides as a “tipping point” where federal overreach causes the frogs to notice they’re no longer in a nice hot-tub.

The left/gov’t had to disgrace this rallying point so that fewer want to be associated with it.

Yes, it’s obvious….so why do Hannity and Rand remain clueless????

(And Sterling is a liberal…..BTW)
