He’s been controversial for decades. Clippers owner Donald Sterling now faces more trouble — a nationwide firestorm over racist comments he allegedly made in a recorded conversation with his girlfriend.
Those alleged remarks by Sterling have caused uproar across the sports world. And perhaps the person most upset about the situation is Dodgers part owner and former Laker super star Magic Johnson himself who was mentioned, specifically, in the comments.
KCAL/CBS2 sports director Jim Hill sat down exclusively with Magic to discuss the remarks the Clippers owner allegedly made.
“I’m very disappointed, angry and upset,” said Johnson. “Let’s go back when I first got here in 1979. Dr. Buss took me to my first real party at Donald Sterling’s house in Malibu for his annual BBQ. Ever since then, since Dr. Buss introduced me to him at the time he bought the Clippers, we’ve been out, we’ve had lunch and even shared meals to talk about his team, so I thought we had a sort of a friendship, even though it may be a distant one.”(continued)

True..I haven’t watched the NBA since Larry Bird left. The Whites are Europeans, the Blacks would be in jail if they couldn’t put an orange ball into a metal hoop.
If 90-95% of blacks always vote for democrats and their big-government, anti-capitalist, limited freedom, confiscatory taxation, anti-hard work leads to success philosophy (etc.), is it actually racist to, in general, not engage freely with blacks? After all, the actual definition of "racism" is "the belief that races have distinctive cultural characteristics determined by hereditary factors and that this endows some races with an intrinsic superiority over others."
If the "black race" has proven by their voting record, that they believe in big government; the nanny-state; the anti-achievement, punish the rich so they can be taxed out the a$$ mentality; the entitlement to the wealth others have earned; then if one is not in favor of those beliefs, why would it be bad to be a racist?
The last time I watched five tall men taking turns hogging a large, round ball, the Clippers (and I) were in San Diego.
They had a guy named Dawkins (?) who went by the nickname `Chocolate Thunder’. CT specialized in destroying backboards.
I have managed to wean myself from most professional sports, and Bassettball was first. Who needs it.

True, but not the subject at hand.
The subject is Donald Sterling’s remarks, the public’s reaction to them, and Magic’s remarks, which carry weight around LA.
I hope the Clippers win the championship and they have to hand the owner the trophy on national t.v.
