Amid the circus that is the Bundy Ranch standoff is the much more important and revealing story surrounding a previously little-noticed agency called the Bureau of Land Management.
Even observers who believed that Cliven Bundy did not have a legal leg to stand on regarding his claims that he did not owe grazing fees for his cattle to the BLM were curious as to the reason behind the heavy-handed response to Bundys recalcitrance. The move ostensibly was to remove Bundys cattle from public lands, where they were illegally grazing. Even though every federal agency these days, from the Environmental Protection Agency to the Department of Education, feels the need to have its own SWAT team, 200 federal agents with assault rifles and dogs seems an inappropriate way to conduct a roundup.
Upon closer examination, the reason for the importance to the BLM of establishing its authority may entail much more than the revenue from grazing fees.

How does one control the helium market? Isn’t that a gas extracted from the air?
I did not know about the goal stuff. Answers a lot of questions.
Don’t be messin’ with the blm bonus money. Think I’ll start a new org called the bureau of air management. Oops. I forgot that epa has that one cornered. :>}
As to the helium production, here’s a quick link:

Curious about the BLM “swat team.”
Wonder what the job description is for these guys? Also, wonder what they do all day.
I’d “steer” clear of them if I were you. :>}
The feral government war for coal. Interesting.
Well, I suppose we could go to the blm website and look for job openings to see what the requirements are. :>}
Follow the money$$$
Weird huh? They gonna sell the coal to the chicoms? Especially since the epa is forcing coal fired plant closures. Kind like the lyin’ king said about bankrupting anybody that wants to build one. He didn’t lie about that.
I am a pretty well educated guy (BS, MBA....) but I had no idea how little helium is in the atmosphere. I learned something today. Thank you.
If you can't figure out just where to start, start with about any Democrat politician. From there, spread out to their "friends", both business, personal, and in the media organs as well as their "good friends across the aisle".
There will be plenty to chew on. You won't make it through your initial list in your lifetime which if you are being serious about it might not be as long as you'd expected.
Thanks for posting. Telling.
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.

No most Helium comes from wells in West Texas
Goes back to FDR and the German Zeppelin program. FDR denied access to our helium resulting in the use by the Germans of hydrogen which resulted in the explosion of the Graf Zeppelin in the US. That pretty destroyed the airship business for a loooong time. We were, I think, the sole producer of helium in commercial amounts in the world at that time, if memory serves. It may not. Let me know. Went hand in hand with FDR’s denial of scrap metal and oil to Japan. These actions had a lot to do with the start of WWII.

DEPOPULATE totalitarians from the body politic.
DISMANTLE their agencies.
Curious about the BLM swat team.
They usually start as seasonal help.
If hire full-time they get run through land management officer training at FLETC.
FLETC offers various courses for types of mission. These guys most likely went back for more.
Pick one, any one. Watch the socialists squeal.

Oink, oink. Snort, snort. See porky progressive oink-snort.
Interesting. Thanks for posting.
LOL! I got a degree in BS myself. :>} Helium is so small a component in the atmosphere that CO2 kicks it’s butt. And we know there ain’t a whole lot of that in the atmosphere.
