Sarah Palin: ‘Waterboarding is how we’d baptize terrorists’ in her administration
The Washington Times ^ | April 26, 2016 | David Sherfinski

INDIANAPOLIS — Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin fired up a crowd of thousands inside Lucas Oil Stadium Saturday night to kick off the National Rifle Association’s “Stand and Fight Rally,” saying Americans’ constitutional rights as envisioned by the founding fathers are under attack and policies like gun-free zones constitute “stupid on steroids.”

“They knew that if the Second Amendment goes, the rest of the constitution is not far behind,” she said of the country’s founders.

In her approximately 12-minute address, Mrs. Palin also derided what she argued is akin to a ‘blame the messenger’ attitude on gun violence many Americans take today.

“Gun stores are an accomplice to crime,” she said, “and that fork made me fat.”

Mrs. Palin, plucked from relative political obscurity to be the 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee, still enjoys significant support among elements of the party’s base, and was at times received like a rock star inside the complex adjacent to the Indiana Convention Center, where much of the gun rights group’s annual meeting has taken place.

You kind of have a history of shooting your mouth off, getting called on it, and then starting long thread-wars wherein you have to get the Last Word.

There are also "supporters" that "just kind of show up".

Fascinating.Oh so instead of answering when Palin changed her policy, you're going to resarch me and try to get me to leave the thread that way.

It's interesting who seems the most desperate to win here.  Thanks for proving who the "Last Worder" truly is.

Here's part of her interview with O'Reilly.  I'm not a big fan of O'Reilly, but in this interview she again reinforces her intent to register illegal aliens, and that the expectation is that the illegals who register will work.  This is from 2010, two years after McCain went down to defeat, and the same year Palin endorsed him to remain the Senator from Arizona over Hayworth.  It was also the same year she stood up before a tea party event and assured them McCain was a Tea Party member at heart.  She hadn't been his running mate for two years.  None the less, she's still hawking the Registration and Remaining in Place.

Just post a link to let us know when she changed her policy.

This started on the very first page of this thread.

Someone slammed Palin, KC_Lion slammed that person back, and then you jumped in on KC_Lion with "She is a failed half term governor".

I refuse to let you get away with DUmpster/DailyKos garbage on Free Republic.

And here we are.

And yet, what have we been talking about for going on two weeks?  What is linked at the bottom of this post?  Is it some sort of insult to Paliin based on her time as the governor of Alaska, or does it link to a statement of her policy, namely to Register between 20 to 35 million illegal aliens, and allow them to Remain in Place.  Let's see if you can figure it out.

More misdirection from the vacant one...

I have no problem with you researching me.  Go ahead.  What else do you have?  You lost this debate once it started.  Since then you've tried many different tactics and topics to move me off the question, and or force me off the thread.  Even the linking of Jim to the thread didn't gain you the victory you sought.

And you have the nerve to call me a "Last Worder" even after you doing that?  Like I said, you're a real hoot.

Here is Plain's interview where she explains her plans to Register illegal aliens and allow them to Remain in Place.

You can listen if you like.

People who support the forum, who work hard on getting financial support for the forum, and who work at the sometimes thankless job of moderating the forum deserve the utmost respect.

It was not an attack - I was merely concerned someone in one of those roles appeared to be taking a side in our ongoing disagreement.

She has asked me not to ping her again. I am respecting that wish, and presume that she asked my post be pulled.

I would thank you not to mention it again, as per her apparent wishes.

If you can show me that, I will admit that I am mistaken about my post #545.

You did not show Trisham respect.  You can spin the post any way you like.  You made a snide comment to her touching on her efforts on behalf of the forum.  It was uncalled for and all three of us know it.

It was not an attack - I was merely concerned someone in one of those roles appeared to be taking a side in our ongoing disagreement.

You haven't minded others coming here to take a side in the disagreement, as long as they were on your side.  Whey should it bother you so much that she might not find your comments or behavior here acceptable?  Did you really think that everyone was going to approve of the way you have chosen to display your deep respect for Palin here?

She has asked me not to ping her again. I am respecting that wish, and presume that she asked my post be pulled.

We both know why you respected that wish don't we.

I would thank you not to mention it again, as per her apparent wishes.

When she cares to tell me what her apparent wishes are, I will respect them.  Unlike you, I respected her wishes enough not to insult her, particularly with regard to her official position here.  It's clear she doesn't agree with everything I do.  I respect that.  I even apologized to her for the way she was treated here.

Up thread I tried to tell you to tone it down.  I reminded you this thread will be available for people to review for quite some time.  I also reminded you several times, that as long as we continue to post here, folks will see the debate and be drawn here.  You made fun of me for trying to help you make less of a visible ass of yourself.

After 2.5 weeks of your abuse, over 550 posts on this thread, I'm not in the mood to remove my comments and link related to you insult of Trisham.  It's not the main topic of this thread, so it's not going to remain on my overall framework for long.If you don't want to look like a donkey, don't act like one.
