People who support the forum, who work hard on getting financial support for the forum, and who work at the sometimes thankless job of moderating the forum deserve the utmost respect.
You did not show Trisham respect. You can spin the post any way you like. You made a snide comment to her touching on her efforts on behalf of the forum. It was uncalled for and all three of us know it.
It was not an attack - I was merely concerned someone in one of those roles appeared to be taking a side in our ongoing disagreement.
You haven't minded others coming here to take a side in the disagreement, as long as they were on your side. Whey should it bother you so much that she might not find your comments or behavior here acceptable? Did you really think that everyone was going to approve of the way you have chosen to display your deep respect for Palin here?

When she cares to tell me what her apparent wishes are, I will respect them. Unlike you, I respected her wishes enough not to insult her, particularly with regard to her official position here. It's clear she doesn't agree with everything I do. I respect that. I even apologized to her for the way she was treated here.

Here's part of her interview with O'Reilly. I'm not a big fan of O'Reilly, but in this interview she again reinforces her intent to register illegal aliens, and that the expectation is that the illegals who register will work. This is from 2010, two years after McCain went down to defeat, and the same year Palin endorsed him to remain the Senator from Arizona over Hayworth. It was also the same year she stood up before a tea party event and assured them McCain was a Tea Party member at heart. She hadn't been his running mate for two years. None the less, she's still hawking the Registration and Remaining in Place.
