What does the nine cents mean? Why Obama’s $10.10, Numerology?

Great questions. There has to be some reason, even if it's only to squeeze a few pennies more out of the employers that they don't have to give.

Right! If $13.09 is good, $100 is much, much better!

All a minimum wage does is make it a crime for anyone whose labor is worth less than the minimum wage to find work.

Yes I do!
Let San Diego see what happens when it drives all its businesses bankrupt.
The current generation of voters in San Diego needs to learn the hard way.
They’re told again and again by people who know better it won’t work but they refuse to believe it.
Maybe a slap in the face will wake enough voters up. Not all of them, surely. Some are beyond help. But perhaps enough to counteract the imbeciles.

Why not $130.90 per hour?

I voted YES because of all the reasons you cited.

I think it’s an excellent idea. As a matter of fact I think they should raise it to $75.00 per hour.

The people would wake up to the price of bread moving up to $20.00 per loaf and all other products and services advancing up to a staggering price due to the huge cost of manpower to produce them.

Let them poop in their own cage and then live in it.

Sure! But I don’t live in San Diego. If they want to drive out jobs I say more power to them.

I ran the numbers and came up with $13.07 for women and $13.12 for man.

I’m so tightly bound to San Diego that it would take 3 hours to pack up and 15 hours to be fully relocated to my home in Idaho. I could be fully packed in 30 minutes in the past.
