Jeb Bush: Im thinking about running for president
By Cristina Corbin Published April 23, 2014 FoxNews.com
Jeb Bush said Wednesday he's "thinking about running for president," in his most direct statement yet about a possible 2016 run.
The former Florida governor spoke at a Catholic school benefit in New York Wednesday morning. He previously has said he'll make a decision on whether to run for president before the end of this year, making clear that he was considering the possibility.
But his comments on Wednesday appeared to be more direct. Asked what his "immediate plans" were, he said, according to an attendee: "I'm thinking about running for president."
The answer was met with applause and a standing ovation, after which Bush said: "Can someone call my mother so she can hear this?" the source told FoxNews.com.

Ad I know I’d vote third-party if he was the candidate.
I love that picture! ;)
There’s an idea, let him “fix” Mexico.
Just go lie down a while, Jebbie boy—I’m sure the idea while go away.
Stay out of da Bushes
please don’t
Stay out da Bushes LOL!
So we are Jackie Gleason in this right now
NUTS I want be Sally Field LOL!
What difference, at this point, does it make? Jeb is on board with illegal immigration, common core and a host of other commie supported issues. Fact.
Jeb, I can testify, was a decent governor.
But we have had enough Bush and Clinton family members live in the White House.
Plus, Jeb’s love for central planning via “Common Core” really turns me off.
Sure thing, Jeb! Burnish your resume like Dole, McCain & Romney. Be the latest in a long line of rudderless GOPe nominees to get your butt kicked by the Democrats.
Seriously, I think these guys do it because there’s nothing left to accomplish in their political careers except steering their political party onto the rocks.
His mother has said that her family should not send anyone else out to run for president. Don’t know her exact comments, but, Barbara Bush was skeptical about another family member going for the big prize.
In a country of over 300 million people, certainly there is enough diversity of candidates that we don’t need to see another named Clinton or Bush?????
Think about it all you want, Jeb, then decide NOT TO RUN.
Out of three hundred million people, can’t they find candidates who are NOT RELATED to former Presidents?
You are right on that. I see Hillary winning in Bush vs. Clinton round 2 just because people are more sick of Bushes than Clintons.
FANTASTIC! I applaud Jeb’s boldness and drive! He will make a fine Republican Candidate for President, and an even better President of the United States! I for one welcome our new frontrunner! The only thing that could make this news any better would be for Jeb to announce Lindsey Graham as his running mate! Maybe Chris Christie for Secretary of State!
Run, Forr-, er Jeb, run!
