Billionaire Republican donor Paul Singer, long known for opposing legislation that increases the regulatory burden on American businesses, has brought together a bipartisan coalition that aims to move the GOP to push homosexual “rights.”
Singer, who backs same-sex "marriage" and the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), helped form two organizations in the last year that have donated to Republicans that share their support for comprehensive immigration reform, same-sex "marriage,” and Israel.

Are they targeted becuase they oppose Singer’s agenda or because they support it??

Over the past 20 years we have accomplished very little other than to lower their taxes and this is what happens. The GOP does not need ‘evil’ donations. Tell this person to go away and spend his money elsewhere.
Since no one is advocating reviving the stoning pits called for in the Old Testament; nor advocating breaking into homes or apartments, where it is suspected that certain actions are taking place between consenting adults; just what "rights" does Mr. Singer advocate?
It is a misuse of the term "rights," as appertaining to an aggressor, where what is intended is to force other people to hire someone, against their wills. The "rights" in that case are the rights of the person forced to hire, that are being stripped away.
As for the "rights" of someone to "marry" some one of the same sex? The actual rights there are the rights of the other people in that community to treat actual marriage--the marriage that leads to family formation & continuity through procreation--as a consecrated institution, essential to a healthy society. Stripping away that community right can never be acceptable to anyone who understands the ongoing dynamics involved.
We are no longer "slouching" towards Gomorrah. Between this and the latest developments from California, over the Boy Scouts, it appears that Sodom will soon rise like the Phoenix--perhaps in Nancy Pelosi's District. (Yet how does what has been translated as an "abomination" in other times, become an "alternative life-style" in modern English?")
