Good evening, Sand...((HUGS))...you are observant. Cluck, cluck!
Every time I see a picture of the M-1 Abrams I am reminded that it was designed by our old preacher’s Son.
I guess it would be more accurate to say that Dr. Phillip Lett headed the team of engineers at Chrysler who designed the tank.
I still can recall an interview where he said when it was announced that Chrysler had won the competition, he stood on top of a drafting table and yelled out the news to everyone.
Good evening, Rooster...mountain goats are pretty nimble.
Thanks for playing.
Why can't I ever be sheep dog or a baby piglet.
Just kidding. I love sheep dogs and have a few baby piglets (piggish kittens) around.
I am blessed to have a small farmlet of animals. Small acreage backed up upon a wetlands.
I love them all and they seem to know it.
My raccoons and possums are my most regular customers. And the birds.
Sort of a garden of Eden...at least to me.
Welcome to the Canteen, bakeneko....
When my daughter was a camp counselor the summer before her first year in college, she found an abandoned little grey kitten in a barn and took him off to college with her. His back legs were shorter than the front ones and it was such a hoot to watch him try to run. My daughter loved that kitty dearly and named him Rachmaninov.
They are both gone to Heaven now and everytime I see Rachmaninov’s name or listen to his music, I smile and remember both of them together. Thanks for sharing his music.
Thanks for another wonderful Canteen. Says I’m an (old) goat. Thought only guys could be (old) goats. Reminds me of a story: You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear but you can get a fur coat out of an old goat. My grandson who raises goats in his quest to be a weekend farmer will think this is pretty funny.
Hope you are doing well. God blessings on you.
Thank you. I am now part of South Park fame. And fifth place to boot. :-)
Good evening, Connie, and thanks for the tributes to our troops. *HUGS*
How goes it at work? Are you interviewing yet?
Did you have a safe commute? Is Daisy always glad to see you come home?
It got up to at least 57 today! Pretty warm in the office.
Back to work tomorrow. Seems like I didn't have a day to myself ... and really, I didn't. Family dinners, college trip, professional development, and, ... well, if you missed this when I posted it last week:
If Tomorrow Starts Without Me. Warning: it's a sad poem, and a sadder post.
I'll see you tomorrow. I need to catch some sleep before the alarm rings.
And God’s blessings to you as well.
Good evening, Grams...((HUGS))...and you are welcome.
Good luck to your grandson in his farming quest.
Baaaa. Welcome to the Canteen, Gefn, and thanks for playing.
Welcome to the Canteen, Klemper, and thanks for playing.
You are a kind cow, but with a great attidtude.
You know what you can and cant do, and you resent anyone trying to push you.
I like it!
Good evening, Savage Beast...you kind, nurturing, and caring creature.
Thanks for playing.
Mooooo!
Welcome to the Canteen, Java4Jay...thanks for playing.
Good evening, dreamy and creative. Baaa!
