It’s obvious that you can’t just walk away from this. 
If Obama's government cannot admit this:
They feel they would lose power and control over the people. Next thing you know, the IRS would have to admit it was not only wrong, but criminal. People would have to be held responsible and go to prison. The BLS would have to admit is has been lying for years about the real inflation and unemployment rates. And on and on.
