After Breitbart Texas reported on the U.S. Bureau of Land Managements (BLM) intent to seize 90,000 acres belonging to Texas landholders along the Texas/Oklahoma line, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott questioned the BLMs authority to take such action.
I am about ready, General Abbott told Breitbart Texas, to go to go to the Red River and raise a Come and Take It flag to tell the feds to stay out of Texas.
Gen. Abbott sent a strongly-worded letter to BLM Director Neil Kornze, asking for answers to a series of questions related to the potential land grab.
I am deeply concerned about the notion that the Bureau of Land Management believes the federal government has the authority to swoop in and take land that has been owned and cultivated by Texas landowners for generations, General Abbott wrote. The BLMs newly asserted claims to land along the Red River threaten to upset long-settled private property rights and undermine fundamental principlesincluding the rule of lawthat form the foundation of our democracy. Yet, the BLM has failed to disclose either its full intentions or the legal justification for its proposed actions. Decisions of this magnitude must not be made inside a bureaucratic black box.
In an exclusive interview with Breitbart Texas, General Abbott said, This is the latest line of attack by the Obama Administration where it seems like they have a complete disregard for the rule of law in this country ...And now theyve crossed the line quite literally by coming into the State of Texas and trying to claim Texas land as federal land. And, as the Attorney General of Texas I am not going to allow this.

It is time to inquire about the local sheriffs attitude toward federales coming into his jurisdiction and doing whatever they want.

And the Deputizing a large percentage of the citizenry.......
I wouldn't put it past the TX AG being in on it
, trying to lead the militia to a confrontation in TX — i.e. Let's you and him fight.
Wars and rumors of war. The truth is dying.
Aye, that’s the truth.
That's asking for logistical nightmares.
I tend to think that all this land grabbing now is that the seed of Obama’s sellout of USA wealth to the Chinese is coming to harvest/call in time for trillion of dollar in loans to make a bunch of millionaires/billionaires including both Obamas and people like Soros plus the money brokers of European banks. Even SC Justice got a piece of the action which he tried to personally and secretly squirrel away in the Vatican Bank on Malta.
I have to agree. Members of government have been living like royalty on the backs of Americans for generations by borrowing against public property that was supposed to be held in a delegated trust.
Now, it's almost time to pay the piper, so the powers-that-be are setting themselves up to make a MINT. It's why Harry wants Bundy gone so badly- his ReidBunkerville LLC sits on the land designated for the Chinese solar panel array, and the only property Reid doesn't own IS Bundy's.
Until Bundy is gone, Harry's property is useless.
We need a lot more Greg Abbotts in this nation right now.
Greg Abbott is a strong Constitutional conservative. He's not an ivory tower sissy boy.

Even FoxNews has been covering it.

Thats good to hear these days my default position on any government official, state or federal, w/ whom Im not familiar is cynic.
Understood. Mine, too, which is why I wanted you to have more info on my next Governor. I think his lawsuit count against the feds is over 24 now.

Anybody know where the BLMy office is that is pushing this non-sense?. Texas is a Republic, right, so there isn’t much federal land in it. Just bases, etc. If the office is in Texas I expect they will get visitors. Maybe cowboys with cow dogs?
This has become necessary to serve as collateral to a $17 tril. debt.
The time is quickly approaching when states must either secede from the Union or submit to slavery.
The federal govt has been successfully overthrown... sooner or later citizens are going to have to face this fact and decide how to deal with it. As a corollary we can now rename the IRS as the Geheim Statz Polizei - Ge-sta-po. Nobody can control the IRS and even the powerful fear it.
Abbott needs to subpoena every BLM document on the Red River plan.
BACKSTORY The development of lucrative Nevada solar farms is why the tax-financed BLM--- whose director is Reids former Capitol Hill senior advisor----intends to push Cliven Bundy out of the Gold Butte area the Bundy family has worked for over 140 years.
Shockingly--without fear of retribution for gross conflict of BLM/Reid interests---the BLM specifically stated that it wanted Bundy and his cattle out of the area as part of the federally-financed agencys regional mitigation strategy for the Dry Lake Solar Energy Zone.
The federally-financed BLM brazenly attempted a cover-up by deleting public documents exposing its plans from its web site. It is suspected---but, unfortunately, could not be fully determined as of this writing---if Harry Reid or Rory Reid had colluded with BLM in the brazen cover-up.
However, astute FReepers from the up-to-the-minute news site, Free Republic, were able to capture, and save the documents, to publicly expose the federal agency's nefarious plans.

Great to hear — though it doesn't behoove us to use such oversimplified metrics.
One big problem is the gaming of the courts, like having a radical environmentalist challenge some company using EPA overreach and it [the overreach] being upheld — resulting in more stringent environmental controls, more de facto legislative power to the burearchy, and judicial precedent (*spit*). And they game it the other way, too. (having the government press a case.)
