Toddlers show racial bias when picking playmates, a study reveals. They also take account of how fairly others behave. Researchers tested the reaction of white 15-month-olds as toys were distributed.Two white adults divided the toys, one equally and the other unequally.
Seventy per cent of the toddlers chose to play with the researcher who distributed the toys fairly.
But in a second test, when one researcher favoured a white recipient over an Asian one, they picked the ‘fair’ researcher less often, the journal Frontiers in Psychology reports.
And the babies are more likely to help those who share the same ethnicity, which is known as in-group bias when people favour those with the same characteristics as oneself.

I don’t think it means that at all.
I think it means white people need to be tolerated, and subsequently celebrated, just like “gay” people. If it’s “in our DNA”, then we can finally claim “victim” status.

The Brit view of world geography is subdivided into smaller regions.
PC usage hasn’t made the same headway there as it has here. But give it time.

It’s not racial bias. Babies don’t have the adult concept of race. It’s recognizing similarities and differences, a very valuable survival skill.
There was a magazine cover a few years back that tried to ‘prove’ that all White babies are racist.
Face it, the left hates Whites and looks for things like this to ‘prove’ that Whites need to be eliminated (after seizing their money)
And there’s actually is a scientific reason that all Asians look alike to Caucasians. But nobody wants to hear about that.

Toddlers who naturally adhere to “instant gratification” rules when deciding what pleases them. The test case is inherently flawed.
Toddlers will pick instant gratification over fairness 100% of the time. They know not what fairness is.
Look for someone to twist this into how Communism is "inherent and natural."

Complete b.s. Toddlers don’t see color; must be taught.
Note to “researchers.” You claim without proof that the thing that you are measuring in your “studies” proves your hypothesis. Then you measure it, and lo and behold, you start crowing about how it “proves” your theory.
Babies playing with other babies has nothing to do with racism. You say it does, and then “prove” it.
Your argument is more realistic than you realize. See “instant gratification.”
Heston said about Planet of the Apes that actors would hang out with other actors according to which type of ape they were playing.
This could have been an interesting study. A certain level of racial bias may be innate, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It could give us more insight into the extent to which racial bias is cultural or learned too. But the researchers had to screw it up by focusing on white babies rather than testing all groups (either that or the reporter thought the “story” in this research was white babies being racially biased). The whole Western world truly is obsessed with proving white racism.
Black adults do it even more.
