The son of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), Rory Reid, is the primary representative for ENN Energy Group, a Chinese energy company seeking to build a $5 billion solar panel plant on a 9,000-acre Clark County desert plot in Laughlin, Nevada.
ENN scored big when Clark County commissioners unanimously voted to sell the Chinese company the public land for just $4.5 million, despite the fact that it was appraised at $38.6 million.
Sen. Reid has been one of ENN’s biggest supporters, having recruited the company during a 2011 trip to China. According to Reuters, last month Sen. Reid tried to “pressure Nevada's largest power company, NV Energy, to sign up as ENN's first customer.”
Both Rory Reid and Harry Reid deny having ever discussed the $5 billion Chinese solar panel plant deal:
"I have never discussed the project with my father or his staff," said Rory Reid. Kristen Orthman, a spokeswoman for the senator, said he had not discussed the project with his son.
This isn’t the first time the Reids have come under fire for alleged cronyism. In 2003, allegations emerged that Nevada industries frequently lobbied Sen. Reid through his well-connected relatives.

I don't now if Hannity wised up by the time his TV show ran, but now that Freepers have peeled the onion, I expect Hannity to refocus on the Godfather of Corruption, Harry Reid & Sons and their ties to Big Chinese Energy.
I wouldn't be surprised if Hannity & film crew don't make it out the Bundy Ranch next week and refocus on the Arizona Mafia!

The ranch is also near Laughlin, NV both in Clark County, NC, the public land in question for the grazing fees is around Gold Butte on FED claimed land.
The deep issue is water rights, as well as solar companies and not about a tortoise.
Several threads: one on the oil fracking leases near there, which has links from all of it...I posted it to get info from many sources as this is a BLM land grab obviously and the root cause is always money/power!
Water seems to have a special problem for Bundy, and if he does not use it for six years then he loses those water rights according to Nevada Law. Remember BLM forced more than 50 Ranchers in that area to sell out to them, and Bundy is the last hold out, if they can keep him from grazing cattle on public land (paid fees or not) then six years from now with no water rights, his ranch land is worthless.
I hope he’s died. I don’t care how...
What about the tortes? The heat generation from those stupid solar panels will kill them but the BLM is “Killing them because they cant feed them” They have millions for their attack on this ranch. This is bannana republic corruption beyond comprehension. Im so glad Bundy ran them off. Public schools will be named after him. If the FEDS had done this in Waco ,29 little children would be alive today. Instead they were burned alive by injections of CS gas (banned by articles of war) shot out of military tanks by FBI agents. After they killed the children they bull dozed the evidence. Better day today and a major blow to Harry reid.I really think he should be tried and jailed.

You know, all this recent bad press and good investigative reporting lately (finally) about Harry Reid and his cronies has the potential to bring him down. That would be another big victory for us. Free Republic will continue to be instrumental in that regard.

I will bet that if we go back a little further, that COUNTY land that the COUNTY COMMISSIONERS could vote on was once FEDERAL land that Harry Reid wrapped up in a LAND SWAP.
Reid is notorious in Nevada for doing such land swaps. The FEDS always come out on the short end, and the COUNTY gets to do the voting on such land in the end. Reid can control the Clark County Commissioners-—he cannot control all the land sales at the Federal level.

Reid’s long time AIDE was just affirmed as the new head of the BLM. Bundy’s ranch in under siege by the BLM.
What’s the over & under on the idea that another Solar Farm is targeted for the Bundy Ranch land???
Don’t EVER dismiss anything that could be connected to Reid. He is a crook of the first degree.
The BLM keeps referring to those cattle as “FERAL cattle”.
They are NOT feral....they belong to the Bundy’s.
